Yep, I read it when I was in Elementary School, then again in Middle School (within a class this time). I must admit that it was one of the better reads I've ever had the pleasure to experience (even though it is a children's book). To anyone who doesn't mind reading young adult fiction - I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

I read it last year in 8th grade for my Advanced English class, and it was okay. Though I remember my friends and I making plenty of jokes about "stirrings" and the sort. It made class entertaining.

Yeah, all of my friends continue to make jokes about the stirrings.

It's tough to be more mature than all of your friends.

I loved this book when I was a kid, and I've found that re-reading the books I enjoyed most growing up presents an entirely new experience.
