What is "Sometimes they come back" about?
Well, I could tell you the story but I don't want to ruin the pleasure you might have reading it and discovering for yourself. In a nutshell, it's about something to happens to a boy that he must again revisit and settle as an adult. It's a good, creepy tale from the Night Shift collection of short stories.
it´s a great story. You should read it. Have you read it yet?
It's about how things we've done in the past, and things that were done to us, sometimes have a way of haunting us, and of how sometimes the world seem to be moving in a wheel, and nothing is really lost or forgotten.
the cyclic nature of evil. is evil cyclic? is cyclic a word? this story is very troubling! and i like the idea that jim norman takes action. not like he had much choice and his choice raises as many troubling questions as the problem it removes. and it brings back a question i had about jerusalem's lot. this story, like the first in the series, maybe even more so, is disturbing. it's like, great, now we get to worry about these long-dead bozos from way back when.
What a great book.
this story was AWESOME! i love how these troublesome teens just show up to torture a man that they once did before when he was young. there was just so much going on in the story to keep me reading, i loved it.
Was this story made into a TV movie? I vividly remember seeing a movie that reminded me of this story. There was Sometimes They Come Back and Sometimes They Come Back for More?
yes it was made into a movie. I preferred the book, but enjoyed the movie. Some parts were a bit different but visually explained things easier that the written word might have......(yeah that was clear as mud, huh?) lol
This story really captivated me and I couldn't put the book down untill I finished the story!
And I annoyed my husband aLOT by yelling "Oh my god!" aloud when
and so on.
It annoyed DH to the point of him taking the book and me having to literally sit on his head and MAKE him give it back to me...
But I was willing to make that sacrifice![]()
