Thanks for posting such a wonderful story. We never know when that time will come and our number is up. How great it was that your father was with such a good friend of yours.

I lost my stepfather to a massive heart attack in '04.

Thanks for sharing your story; it was very moving. Be thankful at least that your daughter knew your dad. My kids never met their grandpa. He died before they were born.

I lost my dad in 1983 from a massive heart attack. He was 59 and I was 17. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of him. I do wish he was here so his grandkids could know him but I do know that he is watching over all of us. There are little things that happen to fall into place and I know it's by his hands.

I find "Ka" beautiful when we are able to 'see' it happen. How awesome was it that your dad decided to get up at that moment and start walking only to end up with someone close to the family. Karma, Ka....... whatever you may call it, call it like you see it .
