Question who's got more than one?

OKAY! Just been dusting the bookshelf (and tthere was loads of dust) and got to wondering if i was the only one who had several copies of my favourite king stories. this is what i have:

THE STAND: 3 copies (2 full versions)
    IT: 2 copies
    FROM A BUICK 8: 2copies
    TOMMYKNOCKERS: 5 copies (2 hardbacks)
    THE GREEN MILE 2 copies
    PET SEMATERY 2 copies
    ROSE MADDER: 2 copies
    FIRESTARTER: 2 copies
    NIGHT SHIFT: 3 copies
    THE DARK HALF: 2 copies
    BLACK HOUSE: 2 copies

I also have most of Sai Kings other novels in hardback or paperback.

does anyone else have a hoard of Sai Kings work like mine or have i finally gone behind the purple never to return?

I have several multiples- the Bachman books, Carrie, The Shining, Salem's Lot, Misery, The Stand. But I only have 2 of each, so I don't know what it means that you have as many as 5 (!) of some

It would be easier for me to list those that I do NOT have duplicates of. I have a weird thing about me, if I see a book, take Different Seasons, that has a different cover color I have to have it. So almost ALL of my SK books are duplicated. Ones that are singletons right off the top of my head are, Black House, Tommyknockers, Duma Key( the rest of the new releases) and Rose Madder. The rest all have partners, I think...

Yeah because I buy lots of used books and sometimes I forget which ones I already have. I have multiple copies of lots of them.

    DT 1 = 2
    DT 2 = 2
    DT 4 = 2
    The Dark Half = 2
The Eyes of the Dragon = 2
    Pet Sematary = 2
    Misery = 2
    The Stand = 3 (2 uncut, 1 cut)

I used to have multiple copies of several SK books, but in recent times they have been passed on to "good homes" where they will be read with delight.

    Hi,

Yeah, me too. I can't resist buying any Sai King book that I find in a charity bookshop, for example, even if I have several copies at home, though I (usually) pass them on to my son and his wife or to a friend.

I resisted a first edition Lisey in good condition a few months ago because I've already got one, plus an ARC copy, and it's been praying on my mind ever since LOL

I can resist anything except temptation!

    Long days and pleasant nights

I just found a bunch of duplicates myself I decided to keep the hard cover and give the paperbacks away to the more needy book lovers

I have more than one of most of the books, one to read and one that is not to be touched.

That's exactly what I need to do. I was thinking of donating them, as none of my friends or family would appreciate them as much as I do.
