they meay feel that black house is easier to translate to a film, more ppl would go see it as a horror type movie. where as the talisman is more fantasy and probably a little bit harder of a box office draw. that's just my guess. i'm happy that they're making a movie out of either of these really.

You're probably right, but I hope they don't do a Hearts in Atlantis job, and throw out all the DT references in Black House.

They were supposed to make a movie but it has yet to be.

The first time I read The Talisman, I got goose bumps reading about Morris of Orris......................that guy just plain creeps me out.

I agree. Talisman would be a great movie. But might be a bit big for a single film. Maybe a Lord of the Rings style trilogy.

The Talisman is my favorite SK novel, second only to It. I would hate for some half-fast director to ruin it.
