I voted other. As much as I love all of the above, especially The Tower Series, my fave would be Insomnia, followed by Lisey's Story, then The Talisman and Black House. I think this will be an interesting thread, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's responses.

As for the best I have read, I would have to say it's a tie between IT and NEEDFUL THINGS. As for the collections, DIFFERENT SEASONS and SKELETON CREW.

I voted for From a Buick 8, I just really love this one, I love them all and really do not like having to choose but I was thinking no one would vote for it!

I had to say other. It's hard to pick just one ... they're all good. My favorite wasn't on there anyway.

i had to say can't decided there are to many that i really enjoy. But i would have to say that my favorites would be Salem's Lot. Desperation, The Long Walk just to name a few

It's like asking me "which one is your favorite kid?". I think your mood or point your at in life calls to re-read a certain favorite. But for the record have to say LOVE EM ALL

I voted other because all though I loved the DTseries (especially the last one) I also loved Duma Key, just wanted to start over once I'd finished. But then I also loved the short story the Sun Dog, really creepy.

We held a poll over the last few months with 1000's of votes (about 70-80 average for each one) and were able to put together some pretty good numbers.

The Stand won (my favorite even though I LOVE the rest with all my heart)

I felt like it was a very comprehensive poll of fans and turned out exactly how I expected.

In this case, I will vote for The Stand again.
