    Default UR (Spolier question)

How come in the book UR, the things in the yellow coats are worried bout Wesley hurting the beams, when in Hearts of Atlantis and the DT series, the things in the yellow coats were actively trying to destroy the beams?

I checked back in UR and don't recall seeing anywhere where the men in yellow coats mention anything about the beams. They were simply upset that Wesley broke the paradox laws.

P.S. All things serve the tower.

I think you're right. I'll have to look (search feature - love it) for beams. I definitely agree that they were upset that the paradox laws were broken.

It talks bout the rose feeling a chill, the tower trembling, and worlds shuddering. They dont actually mention the beams but they are still worried bout the tower falling, when in hearts of atlantis and DT they actually are working towards the tower falling. It makes no sense.

    ***SPOILER WARNING***

The entire ending of the story with the references to the tower is GREAT! One of the lowmen says, " You have no idea what you did...The Tower trembles; the worlds shudder in their courses. The rose feels a chill, as of winter."
Wesley then says, "Very poetic, but not very illuminating. What Tower? What rose?"
I totally felt like it was an inside joke and Wesley wasn't in on it! We, the constant reader, knows exactly what the lowmen mean! Brilliant!

In the next part Wesley says," Is there some sort of power controlling all this? There is, isn't there? When I accessed UR Books for the first time, I saw a Tower." "All things serve the Tower, the man-thing in the yellow duster said..."Then how do you know I'm not serving it, too?"

The links between the books just thrills me to no end! I love the idea of different worlds and and different towers; alternate realities running parallel and intersecting at times!
    LOVE IT!
