    Default Sookie Stackhouse Novels Anyone?

With all of the craziness going on with the Twilight books, I was wondering if there were any other Charlaine Harris addicts out there. I started reading the series after watching True Blood on HBO, I was instantly hooked. It is a serious guilty pleasure, seriously I may need to go to meetings. Anyone else?

BTW: reading Night Shift now so I might be in recovery...maybe

I have read all of Ms. Harris's Sookie novels and several of her other series. Have you checked out her other series??? I refer to 'em as light readers. Something you can read when you "HAVE to read something' but are weary.

I find them to be very predictable myself, but just like the infamous train wreck...

I watched the first episode of True Blood then went and bought all the novels. They are a fun, light read. I'm pro Eric....see how easily I get sucked into these things? I also read her Harper Connelly series, about the girl who got struck by lightning.

I just finished the boxed series - waiting to get my hands on the next two. They are definitely light reading, but enjoyable.

I'm also on an extreme vampire kick right now ~ might have to revisit Anne Rice's vampire chronicles.

I've heard the show is really good, but I haven't seen it.

I really didn't like the first book and consequently didn't read the others. I thought the books were really lacking in character development and I thought the plot was predictable - and sometimes completely implausible.

Someone told me it was like Twilight but with lots of gratuitous sex, so I picked it up. I've decided they were wrong.

I've read them all as well, and love them! I started reading the Teagarden series and it's a lot of fun...love her books. The True Blood show is also what got me hooked on Sookie, I am all the way for Eric. Can't wait until the next one comes out!
