Very cool story. I kept thinking of The Dark Half while I was reading it. Except you knew George Stark was a separate person. This one you werent sure until later. I dont remember watching the movie though, have to get that one. People on this thread have said good and bad things about Depp playing Mort so I'll have to find out.

Moto - you should definitely see the film. It's good, I enjoyed it very much.

But I enjoyed the novella abundantly more.

I saw the movie before even reading the story. This book I bought recently. I must say I enjoy the story more than I did the film. I have not finished to read it yet, and I'm kinda hoping it's not like in the movie somehow. Don't really know why though. I loved John Turturro's interpretation of Shooter's character. He looked insane enough for me. But the part with the cat, I completly freaked out. I am a cat lover, so it made me grinch a little bit...I mean a lot. Great story. I greatly appreciate it.

Yesterday I finished reading Secret Window, Secret Garden. I've seen the movie before, so I already knew the story. But, actually, I think that they are both great - the story and the movie. I think that the story was well adapted into the movie, though the ending is a bit different. I've been thinking about it - what ending I like the best, and I can't decide. It just seems to me that I got used to the ending of the movie. Well, anyway, the story is awesome, it is truly one of my favorite SK stories.

HI!!!I liked it by i wasn't sure about the ending, i would have preferred it to end differently, it seemed to me that SK added a twist that wasn't needed
