    Default Secret Window, Secret Garden

This is by far one of my favourite SK stories and there didn't seem to be a thread for it so if theres others that like this story as i do then tell me what you think, ok?

Discuss anything you want about this story, talk about the movies, the characters anything.

    Matthew.

I liked it, but somebody ruined the ending for me.

I haven`t read the book, but I loved the movie, Johnny Depp is my favourite actor and when I see him on that role I can really imagine how is Mort in the book, although I haven`t read it, he`s awesome actor!.
I`d like to have read the book before seeing the movie. but in that time I didn`t even know Stephen King, and now I just don`t feel ineteresting on reading it, it`s a shame because it is a great story!
are there any big changes in the movie? or is it faithful to the book?

I liked it by i wasn't sure about the ending, i would have preferred it to end differently, it seemed to me that SK added a twist that wasn't needed

I like it but i would rather go with the ending in the movie. Cos a woman who would take your love away when your love is all you have had it coming!

Just reread it two days ago. It starts a bit slow, but when you get the hang of it, story just pulls you in. I saw the movie, but that's been a while back so I the details were a bit foggy, thank god. I love the part where he finally realises he's Shooter but it's too close to the ending. It's like hey I'm also Shooter and he wants to kill my wife. OMG She just drove in, a small fight and it's over. The story takes his time easing the readers into the whole i'm two persons idea, but when he himself knows it, so when it could get really interesting, the story is practically over. Well Sai King knows best, I presume.

It's a great book. I just wished that I hadn't saw the movie before reading the novella.

I thought that the book ending was better than the movie ending. Also, Depp is a good actor but for this particular role I think someone else might have been better.

Loved both, I thought the actors did a great job. John Torturro hell yeah and Johnny Depp oh you bet ya.
