Default Dean Koontz - Odd Thomas

For all you Odd fans out there, I just found out that there are going to be a total of 7 Odd novels. 7 huh, anybody else we know of write a series of 7 books? Sounds awfully familar..... I'm not a major Koontz fan or anything, but, Odd Thomas is a good read. Ya'll try it out.

I like Odd. A bit preachy but entertaining.

What ever happened to his Frankenstein books? - that's Koontz too isn't it?

The first three Odd Thomas books were all really good, but I felt let down by the fourth one.

I like the Odd books, but they aren't my favorites by Koontz. Lightening was the first one I read by him and it still holds my heart.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Little Oddie has been dead? (Other than the time he actually did die in book 2, I think it was. Forever Odd? I can't remember which.)

I agree with Cody44... I mean the first three were superb, but the fourth one seemed kind of empty to me. It also ended out of nowhere, and didn't seem to have as coherent a plotline as the earlier ones. Hopefully Odd will be back to form in the last 3!

I've wanted to but I don't know the order they came out in.

Odd Thomas, Forever Odd, Brother Odd, and Odd Hours. That is the release (chronological) order of the books. With book 5 unannounced yet, but possibly in the works.

I love Odd Thomas. He is a great character. I was also a little disappointed in "Odd Hours," but it may be a lead in for something bigger and better in future Odd novels. I can only wait and see.

Oh I enjoy those books. I did think the last one was pardon the pun a little odd.
