MadamMack started a thread lamenting her As Seen On TV Snuggie that she got for Christmas. LMAO
So I was wondering what you all have or want to have that you've seen on TV.
With great personal restraint I've resisted the urge to buy a ShamWow.
They're made in Germany you know! Great craftsmanship and not to be imitated.... wash rag towely thing?
We actually bought the PureSleep mouthguard thingy for my husband. It kind of works...he still snores a little but not as bad and he doesn't stop breathing anymore.
I'm a sucker for informercials! Luckily I have resisted the urge to buy anything.... so far. I also wanted the ShamWow, and there was a kitchen gadget that would make omelets, sandwiches, and magically turn leftovers into YUM that I drooled over. My boyfriend's dad bought the supposedly magical Banjo Bait for the lakehouse, but alas the bass did NOT like them!
After watching my husband take a Mouse sander to his feet last year—I am NOT kidding—I would like to get him a Ped Egg. I don't want a Shamwow at all, although I did at first, but after a while I thought "How often do I have to soak up copious amounts of fluid?" and the answer was "Thankfully, quite rarely." But I DO want one of those Slap Chop things.
Do you know that commercial for that ab thing that has the gorgeous blonde working out on it? I want one of those.
No, not the ab thing, the blonde working out on it!
I do have the aqua globes which work well enough.
My 6 year old seems to think I need the Buxton organizer. She says "you will never miss a call again and you can even find things blindfolded." I figure if I'm trying to find things in my purse while I'm blindfolded then I have bigger problems than needing a new purse.
I have a PedEgg, and it is wonderful! Ya know, the little cheese grater thing for your feet? It really works- my heels used to look like a drought-stricken field, so I am really pleased to have normal looking feet again!
I live pretty close to a 'As Seen on TV" store -yup- it sells all the stuff you see advertised. I bought a few things- I was so excited to see "magic putty" -I had so many things that needed fixing and hung and well, it was magic! It didn't work worth a darn. But, you know what worked- the 'super wall hooks' or something like that. They really do hold up a lot of weight -You win some lose some.
