What book or short story would ????????

Ok, I'm a fan of Showtime's Masters of Horror, and was wondering if it comes back for a third season which Stephen King book or short story would you most like to see get translated to an hour long mini movie???????????

Hmmm... An hour is too short for N (my favorite). Perhaps Willa (from JAS) or Grey Matter (from Night Shift). That's a tough question. There are so many good ones...

I would LOVE to see Jerusalem's Lot done, but an hour is way too short to do it properly in. Also, there is little dialouge(SP) in which that means someone would screw it up totally if Stephen didn't write it.....sigh....well, unless Mr. Darabont would take the reigns.

i think N could be done in an hour. I dont have showtime so i dont know if they have commercials or not??? if they do, it wouldn't be possible.

so I guess I am going to have to go with the above suggestions. Grey Matter would be awesome, but the Reach would probably be the best bet with the hour time frame, but come to think of it....the story about the nuclear bomb going off in New York could be done as well, it's not too long and would be pretty neat if they had a good special effects house do the explosion.

just my two cents worth....

Popsy would be a great short movie...

In fact I'd encourage king to make a short movie movie...
like freakshow etc...

ohh and the wrong number is so damn dramatic I got a shiver... (book on tape) like at pet semetary at the end end... and poltergise, maybe because I went to see it in the theaters at 8... and I was told it's bascially real and based on reality

Otherwise, maybe because I was allowed to watch jason and freddie before I could read or write, but movies never give me a shiver...
