I purchased The Stand, finally I found the book in one of our stores and bought it. It is exactly what I needed for my collection of SK books
Re: Your latest Stephen King related purchase...
Just bought the BluRay/DVD edition of Misery on Amazon- it was less than $10!! CHEAP!! By the way, anyone know how Kathy Bates is doing? Haven't heard/saw anything about her in the news- hoping that she is winning her battle!!
Re: Your latest Stephen King related purchase...
Oh check it! I mentioned my new resolution to collect all King hardbacks to a friend, and he is selling me all the ones he has in readable condition (as I replace the ones in lesser condition, because eventually I want all 1st eds with dust covers, I'll just give these away):
1 very nice 1st edition Dead Zone, w/dustcover slightly worn.
Dreamcatcher, no dustcover, kind of crap condition.
Duma Key, no dustcover, good condition.
Black House, no DC, crap condition.
Full Dark, No Stars, w. DC, good condition.
Dark Tower Volumes V and VII, w/ DC, good condition.
Not a bad haul for around $20.

Yay, none of the books were in "crap" condition. I would say Dreamcatcher and Black House were fair to good. (However, my friend does smoke, so all the books are currently airing out in the garage.)
Re: Your latest Stephen King related purchase...
A couple of SK store front Tee shirts for birthday gifts. Makes great gifts and helps the Haven Foundation too.
