Your latest Stephen King related purchase...
W00T! I just found a Bookland, that sells used books! I thought those went extinct in this state! Bookland went belly up in my hometown in the early 90's, I think it was. I was real happy to see the Bookland awning. Borders books and music is great, but no used books.
But anyways, I grabbed a used copy of Nightmares & Dreamscapes for $3.80 after taxes. I didn't have any books on me, so it really made my day. I haven't read this collection yet either, and I've avoided all but one of the Nightmares & Dreamscapes TV series so far, because I refuse to watch something before I read the story if at all possible. Well, especially where King is concerned.
Anyways, what's the latest Stephen King related purchase you've made? Books, DVDs, magazines, comics... a T-shirt with his picture on it... anything! Whatever the most recent SK purchase you've made is...
Whadja get?
Re: Your latest Stephen King related purchase...
I got the hard covers of DT6 and DT7 for $8 each, a total of $16. I thought that was a good deal.
Re: Your latest Stephen King related purchase...
I bought 'The Talisman' and 'Black House' on eBay - both books HC 1st ed. Should be getting them sometime next week!
Re: Your latest Stephen King related purchase...
My most recent purchase was the third book in the series of DT. I can't wait to get started on it after I finish this Martha Grimes book.
Re: Your latest Stephen King related purchase...
Duma Key for me I paid just under £10 for it (about $20) in ASDA part of the Wal Mart group. I buy all of his books in HB these days as soon as they come out. I have most of his books I think. The early stuff I bought second hand cos didn't have a lot of cash in those days but I am gradually replacing them.
Re: Your latest Stephen King related purchase...
Why, Blaze and Duma Key, as well as a better edition of Everything's Eventual than the one I had. Now to give the old one to someone . . . :smile2:

Re: Your latest Stephen King related purchase...
I've recently gotten back into Stephen King, and pretty hardcore I might add. This past week I purchased dvd's of The Graveyard Shift and The Mist. Within the past two weeks I picked up paperbacks of From a Buick 8, The Stand (Which I'm reading now), The Dead Zone, It, and Salems Lot.
