Mary's in charge of all the angels now... She's already defeated the devil. She bruised her ankle while crushing the snake that is satan. But even though he's lost, he's still collecting souls...
-- It's a bit of a paraphrase, he used one of her names and was telling of a specific history... but this story really cut me to hear. And I know, it's not the type of universal message I'm really into, but some of these stories are just so beautiful.

Ooooooooo, thanks for fixin my typo Ms Mod!
This one made me feel good to instinctually respond with (I'm the 'J' initial):
M- You know the difference between us and the angels? Angels weren't given free will...
J- Yeah right. You think if someone was being hurt I could just stand by and let it happen? Or let a kid get too close to a cliff? You can say I have free will if you want, sure... but like we wouldn't have done something.

It must be a quote in Hearts, Kim, my father used to use it a lot way back, in the half full sense.

You're right, John, it probably is a quote, because Bobby's mother was fond of quotes (Shoulder to the wheel, nose to the grindstone etc.).

"you're not even as hot as my third shifters!" -- a comment from some woman at the bar, that was trying to defend the 250lb Shim... This woman was quickly dubbed, "The Supermodel", because of how she was saying my friends and I weren't even man enough for the shim in question...
And keep in mind this is in a backwater town in Maine. We don't usually see Shims.
