I'm pretty new to the board but I've come across some of John's posts while reading older threads. Reading all your posts about him tells me he must have been a just an exceptional, wonderful man. I wish I could have gotten to know him.
Thanks for the thread, Gentle.
There have been many a time when I have a thought or a question and I go to PM Mr.D. and then I remember...
You are missed, Sir.
Love you.
Peace.
Well said Scott!
John, you are loved and missed....
John was the very first person who ever welcomed me to SKMB board. He always had so much knowledge about a little bit of everything. I remember when he obtained his uberness status. I believe he was the first one. He is missed. I hope his family gets an opportunity to read your thread GNTNLT.

(I wonder who his favorite character would have been in 11/22/63?)
I hardly got to know John before he passed, but from what I have read of his posts, he was a very wise man indeed. First one to welcome me here like so many others.
John was a true and wonderful friend to me. I loved him dearly, and I miss him very much.
I'm not very eloquent a writer (or speaker) John but I sure do miss you and your wit. It's been a long year without you! Love and respect forever my friend.
