Enjoy yourself. You have no idea of the worlds you have waiting for you. Although re reads are enjoyable, I'm sure many will agree there is nothing like your first time.
Like you, I first read Tommyknockers before anything else, and I was hooked. And that is considered one of his weakest books, but I loved it. It's been many years since I've read it, but I bet I still would. Sai King may be considered a horror writer, but his books are and have always been so much more. A belated welcome to SKMB, since somehow I missed this the first time around.
Oooooooh! I'm so envious of you Smush! I remember my first experience with SK (it was reading the paperback release of 'Cujo') where I was just completely head-over-heels for the book.
Now, since I am not a patient person, I went to the bookstore the very next day and picked up all the SK novels I had missed leading up to 'Cujo' (which amounted to 8 paperbacks that I read in order of initial release - excluding the 3 Bachman books as it had yet to be revealed that he and SK were one-and-the-same).
Savor the journey Smush and welcome to the board!
Hi!
Glad you found yourself home.
Peace.
I've still got a few SK books in my bookshelf that I have purposely not read yet. When the zombie apocalypse happens and I'm shuttered inside my house I'll need something to occupy my time.
...when you're not breaking out the illegal "assault rifles" and smashing some 'Bies...:wink2:
