I am happy today because the person helping me get through 'the system' helped me find a mover cheaper than I did, PLUS, she may be able to arrange for 'the ministry' to pay for the move because it is a health and safety thing for me.
Woohooo....
Also, I might be finding out in a couple of hours when I get the keys to the place. I could potentially be out later this week, but most likely on the weekend. It's so CLOSE. I can smell the fresh air freedom scent.

Both my sons went off to school this morning - crack of dawn.
As they left they asked if I would miss them while they're gone.
How was I to answer that? I fear I told a lie;
"Yes, of course I will," I said... Then kissed them both good-bye.

I am happy today because Smeej is here!!!
I am happy, but it's bittersweet. A friend of ours died a few weeks ago and his mother just gave us his gorgeous piano. It's sitting across the living room from me now. That makes the second piano in our tiny little apartment, but I suppose you can never have too much music or too many old friends about a place, in a way. I was thinking of writing a short story in his honor... but we never did see eye to eye on literary tastes, so not much of a tribute.
Iam happy today as I have some true caring friends here!

I'am happy today because....I was in the used book store (Goodwill) looking for a book to buy when I noticed a hard copy of Under the Dome.I picked it up and was intrigued, the dust cover consisted of an illustration only,no title or author.Just a picture of Chester's Mill,Maine. I didn't know what to make of it.Then I noticed the regular retail price, Can.$95 and US. $75. I flipped a couple of pages and read "This Scribner collector's edition November 2009".I smiled from ear to ear! and bought it for $3.99!:biggrin2:
