Good job, Srbo. I'm very proud of you. I'm proud of anyone who overcomes, who succeeds in replacing a bad habit with a better one. Such people are the bravest humans I know of.

I am happy today because The End of the World is this easy to cope with. Almost like SSDD.
I'm happy today because I can be.
... HTB (Happy today becuz) my husband made it back from way up North. He was 999 miles north of Winnipeg for the last 4 months. His plane was delayed 24 hours due to maintenance problems with the aircraft but he got home by Saturday. He brought me a soapstone carving of an Inukshuk and another carving of a man with a harpoon.
Well - I did help rearrange a couple of ornaments :D
We had two chickens (instead of one turkey) with carrots, parsnips, baby potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce plus he made two apple pies with Granny Smith apples.
I hope everybody had a great Christmas and holiday season. It's back to work on Thursday/Friday for me, then the weekend off!

Here is the secret to getting something like that done - My husband is a chef! He says for supper tonight he bought a "joint" - that is British jargon for a roast beef.
Well - I did my part today at least - I just finished making Rice Krispie squares with the special Holiday Rice Krispies (you know with red and green ones mixed in):eek2: Hardly gourmet fare but they are nice and chewy!
I am happy today because my two year old grandson called me Grandma for the first time last night!
