Re: What are you reading? (continued)
I am reading a free E-book from Goodreads called "Anarchy: A Love Story." I expected it to be AWFUL. While the writing is a bit over done I actually like story. So if you're looking for something free, I'd recommend it!
And if you don't have Goodreads, get it! Not only does it help me keep track of the 800 books I read every year so I don't read them twice (which I've been known to do) it also lets me know what all of my friends are reading. It's by far my favorite app.
(Marsha, am I allowed to tell people to get free apps on here? It is free after all!)
Re: What are you reading? (continued)
Depends on the app, but in this case that is okay. :smile2:
Re: What are you reading? (continued)
I am starting The End of Your Life Book Club by Will Schwalbe. Will and his mother started this book club when she was going through chemo. He would sit with her during her treatments. I have already started a list of my own from the book.:eek2:
Re: What are you reading? (continued)
Taking a break from The Talisman, not that it is bad, just not what I thought it would be. Reading Lisey's Story now, then will get back into The Talisman. I've also been reading a short story here or there...and of course writing, but not near as much as I should be...
Re: What are you reading? (continued)
I'm stumped at the moment. It isn't for lack of anything to read.....I have 3 bookshelves overflowing with unread books, and the topof my wardrobe has become a bookshelf as well.
Maybe it's cool book overload, or something.......it could happen, right?

Thanks to this website..I'm now a huge fan of Joe Hill..how did I not know he existed??? I ordered a limited edition of his new book coming next year. I've never done this before even for Mr. King!!! Honestly, although I'm a huge life long fan, before I joined this board I didn't know you could do that! I thought limited books were just for special people..I'm so excited! Thanks Ms. Mod and everyone else for opening my eyes...

Re: What are you reading? (continued)
I found a hardback first edition of Four Past Midnight for $10 at an antique mall, so I've dived into "The Sun Dog" first. I'm loving it all over again. I read the collection for the first time in 1995! Wow. It's been a while, eh?

Very good!!!! I tried to read A Dark Matter and just couldn't. I tried three times and I just did not like the flow at all.
