Good for you! I currently weigh around 150 - 160ish (I cannot tell my exact weight as it is a Nato secret). I am 5'4" so I am a tad overweight. I have about nine weeks to go until my son's wedding and I would love to lose even 10 pounds! - So - may I ask - what is your secret? or what method did you use? i.e. more exercise, less food or what? I find since I turned 50 it is really hard to drop those pounds like I used to. At one time I could lose easily but now it is really hard. I was thinking Weight Watchers but I was wondering if the on-line version is better than the meetings. I found the meetings only worked if you could find a leader who inspired you...

Basically, a name makes people take a "heads up" attitude.
Thank you for the link. If you read the comments at the bottom of the article, it seems alot of folks have a problem with naming them. Insurance reasons.

Re: The New Ka-Tet Cantina
Hi All! Sitting here watching the first snowfall of the season happen. I love it when it covers everything and makes it all a nice pure white. But, then reality sets in and I realize that I gotta drive in this stuff! :eek2:  (Is it just me or does this happen to everyone on here- everytime I click on the emoticons they're always scrambled around, each one is never in the same place?) I hope this finds you all in a good place and a good frame of mind. I see there's still lots of nasty weather out there affecting peoples lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by these storms and anyone else who needs them. 'Tis Friday, so that should mean something for most!! For me, it's my Sunday, then back to the retail grind tomorrow. Everyone have a great day and be good to all you meet!!

Have an unforgettable weekend, Gunslingers!
Love and lights!
Re: The New Ka-Tet Cantina
Happy Friday to all. :)
Been really busy here, all the time. I miss having lots of free time.
The weather has been so nice lately, we've only had a couple of cold days. It's going to get cold again on Sunday, low to mid 30's. Yuck! But it's like 70 today. I'm not used to it being so warm this time of year. I hope that doesn't mean the winter is going to be terrible!
I hope all are well or on their way to well. :)
Take care of those you love.
Sending positive thoughts, good vibes, hugs, love, and whatever else you might need.....

Have a fantastic weekend!!!

Warmth returns to sunny FL. My Long island cous has power- after 13 days. Now to rebuild their lives. So many still in need.
Fresh homemade bread on the counter. Help yourself.
Book under arm, herbal tea in hand and off to bean bag central. All welcome to join.

Re: The New Ka-Tet Cantina
Good morning Tet!
We didn't get much of Brutus here, just a little snow. It rained first, and then we got some bitter cold, it was down around 0, moving up and below with the wind chill, so it was an icy mess, but we didn't get the heavy snowfall. Scott and Evan had a good time hunting, and filled both tags, so we have some meat in the freezer. We butchered them yesterday. Well, I should say Scott and Evan did, I had the easy job, just packaging it. But, it still wore me out!
Sending hugs and positive vibes to all...have a great day!
Re: The New Ka-Tet Cantina
Back 'home' (to a place that isn't), and away from the sea for far too long. I head back up to Alaska at the end of December, so I've got several weeks of being land-locked. And already I miss the ocean...
On the bright side, I get to go back up to train for work on crab boats - yep, the real Deadliest Catch stuff, LOL.
Come summer, though, I may switch jobs, try to find work on a fishing boat as a deckhand. Better money, and it would let me get a start on learning to run boats, which is what I think I want to do...
Hope everyone has a great day and a terrific week!
