My favorite! I don't really know why. It is old, the special effects are cheap, it misses quite a few of the elements I love about the book... And still I watch it over and over. I honestly don't know how many times I have seen it.

Misery will probably always be my favorite. One of my all-time favorite performances in any movie, James Caan. Not to mention Bates, of course. sK's story is told as intact as in any adaption I can think of. A beautiful work of art, imho.

Shawshank Redemption, Misery, The Green Mile, Carrie, Cujo, Creepshow, Apt Pupil, The Shining, Stand By Me, Silver Bullit are amongst my faves.
