Through the Dollar Baby Program, we have been given permission to create a film based on Survivor Type. We will start filming in June 2011 and wrap up in July. That is AWESOME, guys! My advice--don't mollycoddle the material. Get mean and nasty with it, show everything that's in the story. I mean, otherwise, why bother? I can't wait to see it!
...at least the meal budget should come in well under estimate...
This is one of those that has always stayed with me...ha...no pun intended...
But..uh..let's hope it can stay a mystery for those less familiar with SK...

That sounds exciting. Is it all finished now? I hope it stayed true to the story, I think it would make a good movie that way. I just finished this one last night but I have a feeling that it will be staying with me too. It's just such a real possibility that something like this could happen!
Well, I'll be looking for this! I loved this short story and had a nightmare about it right after I read it. Dreamed I was on the beach, and here he came, skittering like a crab toward me, all skin and bones!
