Were the Bachman books not published in Hardback?
Re: Does anyone own the orig. Bachman paperbacks ?
The individual books were first published as paperbacks only. Thinner was the first Richard Bachman book released as a hardcover. The omnibus collection titled The Bachman Books was published in both hardcover and paperback.

I've got that same paperback of The Bachman books. Mine is soooo worn out the cover is going to go soon. I was always very hard on paperbacks..would get so into them and not really care about creasing it or folding the covers back on thinner ones lol.

Is there anyone here that purchased a Bachman book in the 70's or 80's with no idea it was Stephen King?
Re: Does anyone own the orig. Bachman paperbacks ?
I had a paperback edition of The Bachman books, I lost it to an ex in a really awful breakup. Makes me so mad.

I heard the new ones don't contain Rage. Is that true? Too bad if it is; it's probably my favorite SK.

Hi,
Yes, that's true.
But second-hand copies containing Rage are readily available on the secondary market.
Long days and pleasant nights

I have the paperback Bachman Books, not sure where it is though. My son borrowed it, took it to his Dad's, and that's the last time I've seen it. But it does have my name in it in bright pink ink, so maybe it will find it's way back home.
