Hi All,

Just a quick update for you all.

The first draft of the script will be completed within the next month.
It's been a long and fun process so far, but the best is yet to come. Very soon I will be releasing more details on the plot too.

Hi All,

It's been a while since my last update, but I bring good news. The 1st draft of the script is almost complete!

An exclusive for the SKMB now: *Short plot outline,*

As you all know, Stephen King's The Boogeyman was not all about that monster within the closet, but the monster within yourself too. The script has delved between the lines of the fantastic short story whilst keeping the original story in tact.

As I described in previous posts on this thread, the children are older than they are in the book.
The relationship between Rita and Lester is not a healthy one, with Lester being overstressed and Rita Being under appreciated things are set to erupt in the Billings household.
With Lester's paranoia growing over his own personal life, he alienates Denny.

Hi All,

It's been a while since my last update.

The pre production train is running very well. The script is almost complete and we have actors clamoring to be a part of the film!

On top of that we have been scouting for locations, and we feel that we have turned up some really great ones, we hop you like them as much as we do!

We can also announce that shooting for the film will begin in April/May of THIS year!

1) The script is on the 'home stretch' now! writing the script has been a challenge, but a fantastic one at that.

A plethora of actors have handed in audition tapes from around the country. (UK) They are all fantastic up and coming actors, and it's great to see that they want to be a part of this film.

Hi All.

Just a quick note to say that..... The Script is now complete! it's taken a while, but the pre production road has been great fun! Now the 'magic' begins.

In other news, I apologies for not having the trailer up already, there are some technical issues, that will be resolved very soon.

About the appearance of the Boogeyman- of course, I can't be one to judge, but in my own opinion, you should refrain from showing his "true form". I don't think any film without a big budget for makeup or special effects could accurately capture it. Maybe keep him offscreen or in the shadows, and SPOILERS

at the end when he is revealing himself, cut to the main actor's horrified face before you see his true form.

The great thing about The Boogeyman, in my opinion, is that he can be unique to each person.It's their own personal demon.
