Here Without You (Clark) (The Byrds)
Daytime just makes me feel lonely
At night I can only dream about you
Girl you're on my mind nearly all of the time
It's so hard being here without you
Words in my head keep repeating things that you said
When I was with you
And I wonder is it true do you feel the same way too
It's so hard being here without you, being here without you
Though I know it won't last I'll see you some day
It seems as though that the day will come never
But there's one thing I'll swear though you're far away
I'll be thinking about you forever
The streets that I walk on depress me
The ones that were happy when I was with you
Still with all the friends I know and with all the things I do
It's so hard being here without you being here without you

I was raised by a toothless, bearded hag,
I was schooled with a strap right across my back,
But it's all right now, in fact, it's a gas!
But it's all right, Jumpin' Jack Flash,
It's a gas! Gas! Gas!
I may not be Jumpin' Jack Flash, but this is certainly a gas!

"You know it's kind of hard
Just to get along today
Our subject isn't cool
But he fakes it anyway
He may not have a clue
And he may not have style
But everything he lacks
Well he makes up in denial
So don't debate, a player straight
You know he really doesn't get it anyway
He's gonna play the field, and keep it real
For you no way, for you no way
So if you don't rate, just overcompensate
At least you'll know you can always go on Ricki Lake
The world needs wannabe's"

Pull up to the bumper, get out of the car
License plates a stunner number one super star

Guys and Dolls--Sit Down, You're Rockin the Boat...
NICELY-NICELY:
I dreamed last night I got on the boat to Heaven
And by some chance I had brought my dice along,
And there I stood, and I hollered,
"Someone fade me,"
But the passengers they knew right from wrong
For the people all said,
"Sit down, sit down you're rockin' the boat."
ENSEMBLE:
People all said,
"Sit down, sit down you're rockin' the boat."
NICELY-NICELY:
"And the devil will drag you under
By the sharp lapel of your checkered coat;
Sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down
NICELY-NICELY & ENSEMBLE:
Sit down you're rocking the boat."
NICELY-NICELY:
I sailed
ENSEMBLE:
OOH...
NICELY-NICELY:
Away on that little boat to Heaven
And by some chance found a bottle in my fist,
And there I stood,
Nicely passin' out the whiskey,
But the passengers were bound to resist
For the people all said, "Beware!"
ENSEMBLE:
People all said, "beware, beware!"
NICELY-NICELY:
You're on a heavenly trip."
People all said, "beware!"
ENSEMBLE:
People all said, "beware!"
NICELY-NICELY:
"Beware you'll scuttle the ship;
And the devil will drag you under
By the fancy tie 'round your wicked throat;
Sit down,
NICELY-NICELY & ENSEMBLE:
Sit down, sit down, sit down,
Sit down you're rockin' the boat."
NICELY-NICELY:
And as
ENSEMBLE:
OOH...
NICELY-NICELY:
I laughed at those passengers to Heaven
Ah, ah, ah, ah!
A great big wave came and washed me overboard,
And as I sank, and I hollered,
"Someone save me,"
That's the moment I woke up, thank the Lord!
ENSEMBLE:
Thank the Lord, thank the Lord!
NICELY-NICELY:
And I said to myself, "Sit down"
ENSEMBLE:
Said to himself, "Sit down, sit down"
NICELY-NICELY:
"Sit down you're rocking the boat."
Said to myself, "Sit down"
ENSEMBLE:
Said to himself, "Sit down"
NICELY-NICELY:
"Sit down you're rocking the boat
And the devil will drag you under
ENSEMBLE:
And the devil will drag you under
NICELY-NICELY:
With a soul so heavy you'd never float,
Sit dowwwwwwwwwwwwwwn

Human Behaviour
If you ever get close to a human
and human behaviour
be ready to get confused
there's definitely no logic
to human behaviour
but yet so irresistible
there is no map
to human behaviour
they're terribly moody
and human behaviour
then all of a sudden turn happy
but, oh, to get involved in the exchange
of human emotions is ever so satisfying
there's no map and
a compass
wouldn't help at all

Its gonna be another lonely night
One more and I'm gonna die
Wired out waiting for the sign
Coz your a risk and I'm borderline
All I know is I've been sitting with this fire and it burns inside
Man if you want me to walk your line then dont stop at 8 no lets take it
To the 9's
I know that we should lay out and love
Because man I really need it
To the 9's
I may be full but It's not enough
Come and show me how to feel it
All or nothing
You know thats how I play the game and I'm ready now
Man if you want me, come cross the line and
Slide up to 8 then lets take it

So I'm down and so I'm out
But so are many others
So I feel like tryin' to hide
My head 'neath these covers
Life is like the seasons
After winter comes the spring
So I'll keep this smile awhile
And see what tomorrow brings
I've been told and I believe
That life is meant for livin'
And even when my chips are low
There's still some left for givin'
I've been many places
Maybe not as far as you
So I think I'll stay awhile
And see if some dreams come true
There isn't much that I have learned
Through all my foolish years
Except that life keeps runnin' in cycles
First there's laughter, then those tears
But I'll keep my head up high
Although I'm kinda tired
My gal just up and left last week
Friday I got fired
You know it's almost funny
But things can't get worse than now
So I'll keep on tryin' to sing
But please, just don't ask me how

"Ring Out, Solstice Bells"
Jethro Tull
Now is the solstice of the year,
winter is the glad song that you hear.
Seven maids move in seven time.
Have the lads up ready in a line.
Ring out these bells.
Ring out, ring solstice bells.
Ring solstice bells.
Join together beneath the mistletoe.
by the holy oak whereon it grows.
Seven druids dance in seven time.
Sing the song the bells call, loudly chiming.
Ring out these bells.
Ring out, ring solstice bells.
Ring solstice bells.
Praise be to the distant sister sun,
joyful as the silver planets run.
Seven maids move in seven time.
Sing the song the bells call, loudly chiming.
Ring out those bells.
Ring out, ring solstice bells.
Ring solstice bells.
Ring on, ring out.
Ring on, ring out.

I'm feeling very 99 Red balloons today. in particular...the Goldfinger version
You and I in a little toy shop
buy a bag of balloons with the money we've got
Set them free at the break of dawn
'Til one by one, they were gone
Back at base, bugs in the software
Flash the massage "Something out there"
Floating in the summer sky
99 Red Balloons go by.
99 red balloons floating in the summer sky
Panic bells, it's red alert
There's something here from somewhere else
They war machine springs of life
Opens up one eager eye
Focusing it on the sky
As 99 red balloons go by.
99 Decision Street, 99 ministers meet
to worry, worry, super-scurry
Call out the troops now in a hurry
This is what we've waiting for
This is boys, this is war
The president is on the line
As 99 red balloons go by.
99 Kriegsminister
Streichholz und Benzinkanister
Hielten sich für schlaue Leute
Witterten schon fette Beute
Riefen: Krieg und wollten macht
Mann wär hätte das gedacht
Dass es einmal soweit kommt
Wegen 99 Luftballoons
99 Dreams I have had
In every one a red balloon
It's all over and I'm standin' pretty
In the dust that was a city
If I could find a souvenir
Just to prove the world was here...
And here it is a red balloon
I think of you and let it go

Hymn 43
Oh father high in heaven -- smile down upon your son
whose busy with his money games -- his women and his gun.
Oh Jesus save me!
And the unsung Western hero killed an Indian or three
and made his name in Hollywood
to set the white man free.
Oh Jesus save me!
If Jesus saves -- well, He'd better save Himself
from the gory glory seekers who use His name in death.
Oh Jesus save me!
I saw him in the city and on the mountains of the moon --
His cross was rather bloody --
He could hardly roll His stone.
Oh Jesus save me!

Cross Eyed Mary IS spooky. Maybe her attention is drawn by Aqualung.....

Skating Away On The Thin Ice Of The New Day
(http://lyrics.rare-lyrics.com/J/Jethro-Tull/Skating-Away-On-The-Thin-Ice-Of-The-New-Day.html)
Meanwhile back in the year One --- when you belonged to no-one ---
you didn't stand a chance son, if your pants were undone.
`Cause you were bred for humanity and sold to society ---
one day you'll wake up in the Present Day ---
a million generations removed from expectations
of being who you really want to be.
Skating away ---
skating away ---
skating away on the thin ice of the New Day.
So as you push off from the shore,
won't you turn your head once more --- and make your peace with everyone?
For those who choose to stay,
will live just one more day ---
to do the things they should have done.
And as you cross the wilderness, spinning in your emptiness:
you feel you have to pray.
Looking for a sign
that the Universal Mind (!) has written you into the Passion Play.
Skating away on the thin ice of the New Day.
And as you cross the circle line, the ice-wall creaks behind ---
you're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly in the corner of your eye ---
shining in the setting sun.
Well, do you ever get the feeling that the story's
too damn real and in the present tense?
Or that everybody's on the stage, and it seems like
you're the only person sitting in the audience?
Skating away on the thin ice of the New Day.

I copied this from the "Newbie" section. This is such an awesome song that I downloaded it and listened to it all through lunch. So this is my song for today. Crowded House leader Neil Finn wrote this after having a terrible fight with his wife and it's about holding on to a relationship. I think maybe it can even be adapted to the New Year - don't bid good riddance to the past, it may have been painful and dark but it has made you what you are and made way for a path to a brighter happier adventurous time to come. Don't dream it's over - cherish the past for a brighter future. Or maybe I'm being too analytical today.
There is freedom within, there is freedom without
Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup
Theres a battle ahead, many battles are lost
But you'll never see the end of the road
While you're travelling with me
Hey now, hey now
Dont dream its over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they wont win
Now Im towing my car, theres a hole in the roof
My possessions are causing me suspicion but theres no proof
In the paper today tales of war and of waste
But you turn right over to the t.v. page
Hey now, hey now
Dont dream its over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they wont win
Now Im walking again to the beat of a drum
And Im counting the steps to the door of your heart
Only shadows ahead barely clearing the roof
Get to know the feeling of liberation and relief
Hey now, hey now
Dont dream its over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
Dont ever let them win
HELP HELP HELP. I recently watched "The Stand" and in Part 2 where Molly Ringwald plays a record, I remember the music from the past (maybe the late 70's or early 60's). What is the name of the group who sang this song. Some of the lyrics are: there is music without, there is music within . . . hey now hey now - (don't / the) dream is over), hey now hey now . . .
Thanks to whomever can help me.

Feeling a little melancholy today
Elton John - Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues
Don't wish it away
Don't look at it like it's forever
Between you and me
I could honestly say
That things can only get better
And while I'm away
Dust out the demons inside
And it won't be long
Before you and me run
To the place in our hearts
Where we hide
And I guess that's why
They call it the blues
Time on my hands
Could be time spent with you
Laughing like children
Living like lovers
Rolling like thunder under the covers
And I guess that's why
They call it the blues
Just stare into space
Picture my face in your hands
Live for each second
Without hesitation
And never forget I'm your man
Without me girl
Cry in the night if it helps
But more than ever I simply love you
More than I love life itself
And I guess that's why
They call it the blues
Time on my hands
Could be time spent with you
Laughing like children
Living like lovers
Rolling like thunder under the covers
And I guess that's why
They call it the blues
Wait on me girl
Cry in the night if it helps
But more than ever I simply love you
More than I love life itself
And I guess that's why
They call it the blues
Time on my hands
Could be time spent with you
Laughing like children
Living like lovers
Rolling like thunder under the covers
And I guess that's why
They call it the blues

Wolfsheim - I Don't Love You Anymore
I don't understand you saying
"Our seas were always rough!"
We had to make it up someway
But years were not enough
...
I will not praise the times we had
And won't deny that I feel sad
The silence speaks for you and me
While we're dancing
I don't love you anymore
And we're dancing
You're not the one I'm falling for
But we are dancing
I will not praise the times we had......
Look at what we have today
I can't live without you!
That's not what I want to say
But it seems so true
I will not praise the times we had......
So many good things that we had
Can't help myself... I feel so sad...
I wish that you would speak to me
While we're dancing
...
Although, I personally believe love is the final answer, the biggest demon, the one that can't be killed or stopped or silenced in any way shape or form... So I don't comprehend how in this song he says he has stopped loving someone. But it's a wonderful song nontheless.

As Kim can attest, we're having a bit of a storm here(60-70mph winds and they've closed the freeways to Nevada. I feel that, soon,Toto and I won't be in Kansas (or Cali) anymore!

Yes, a mighty wind blew us all here in Cali and lots of folks are still without power.
Theme song today is "A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall:"
Oh, what did you see, my blue-eyed son?
Oh, what did you see, my darling young one?
I saw a newborn baby with wild wolves all around it
I saw a highway of diamonds with nobody on it,
I saw a black branch with blood that kept drippin',
I saw a room full of men with their hammers a-bleedin',
I saw a white ladder all covered with water,
I saw ten thousand talkers whose tongues were all broken,
I saw guns and sharp swords in the hands of young children,
And it's a hard, and it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard,
And it's a hard rain's a-gonna fall.

Hi,
The Who - 'Baba O'Reilly'.
They did a special one-hour concert for BBC 1 Sessions last week and I haven't heard them as good since Moony died - one of the best televised concerts I've ever seen and maybe it's available on their web-site if you like the Who.

KRS ONE - The Sneak Attack
[KRS-One]
Yo, where's my people at?
We be where the elite be at
We really never need the gat, we comin with a sneak attack
In fact, best believe we back
What we rap it heats the track
Kenny Parker sees to that, my job is to teach these cats
Present the clear speech they lack
And show 'em how to eat from rap
[April S. Williams]
We keep it tight.. we keep it right.. (that's right)
We're comin strong.. (uh-huh, yeah) we're movin on.. (tell 'em again!)
(Uhh) It's time to rise.. and unify.. (yeah, yeah)
Keep comin strong (uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh!)
Just keep movin on..
[KRS-One]
You know why the devil can't get with me?
Cause he's a liar, I've got victory
You can stick with me, my click is free
Negativity, that doesn't live with me
These rappers on one, I've skipped to three
These rappers on A, I've skipped to C
My image, heads ain't quick to be
So I thank you for pickin me
I know why people got to know, these wack rappers got to go
Let a MC rock the show
I'll show 'em how it 'posed to go
We forgot simply what we supposed to know
We still must defeat the foe
So what you got the dough? Your words don't make us glow
In fact they make us slow
How long this gonna take to know you ain't gotta be a hoe?
[April S. Williams]
We keep it tight.. we keep it right.. (yeah)
We're comin strong.. (yeah, yeah) we're movin on.. (uh-huh)
(Tell them again!) It's time to rise.. and unify.. (yeah)
Keep comin strong (uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh!)
Just keep movin on..
[KRS-One]
Look at the teacher, I stay attuned
People are blessed when I walk in the room
Snakes(?) don't stop me, and if they did
they'd be askin for a tag 'fore they kids
Medical students lose it when I enter any hospital
Doctors wanna talk music and whatever's topical
It's all logical, I perform the impossible
Through words I put hip-hop in you; listen
Here's what we got to do, unify
Defeat the flesh, defeat the beast in you and I
Win or lose I never shout, believe in yourself and never doubt
Discipline is simply a better route
[April S. Williams]
We keep it tight - we keep it tight
We keep it right - we keep it right
We're comin strong - comin strong
We're movin on - movin on!
It's time to rise - it's time to rise
And unify - unifyyyy
Keep comin strong - comin strong
Just keep movin on - keep on movin on
We keep it tight - we keep it tight
We keep it right - we keep it right
We're comin strong - we're comin strong
We're movin on - movin on!
It's time to rise - it's time to rise
And unify - it's time to unify
Keep comin strong
Just keep movin on - keep on movin on
..
Just keep movin on - keep on movin on
Just keep movin on - we gotta keep on movin on
Just keep movin on - wake up and realize
Just keep movin on - that you just keep movin on
Just keep movin on - it's time to realize
Just keep movin on - that you gotta keep movin on
Just keep movin on - keep movin on, keep movin on
Just keep movin on - you gotta keep movin on, you gotta take that time
Just keep movin on - you gotta realize, that it's time
- keep on movin on, keep on movin on

If you want it, here it is
Come and get it
MMM Make your mind up fast.
If you want it, anytime
I can get it
But you better hurry cause it may not last.
Did I hear you say
That there must be a catch?
Will you walk away
From a fool and his money?
If you want it, here it is
Come and get it
But you better hurry 'cause it's goinn' fast.
If you want it, here it is
Come and get it
MMM Make your mind up fast.
If you want it, anytime
I can get it
But you better hurry 'cause it may not last.
Did I hear you say
That there must be a catch?
Will you walk away
From a fool and his money?
Sonny...
If you want it, here it is
Come and get it
But you'd better hurry 'cause it may not last
You'd better hurry 'cause it may not last.
OOOO..fool and his money
Sonny..
If you want it, here it is
Come and get it
But you'd better hurry 'cause it's goin' fast
You'd better hurry 'cause it's goin' fast
You'd better hurry 'cause it'd goin' fast.

Bob Marley's Three Little Birds
Dont worry about a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Singin: dont worry about a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right!
Rise up this mornin,
Smiled with the risin sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin, (this is my message to you-ou-ou:)
Singin: dont worry bout a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Singin: dont worry (dont worry) bout a thing,

Rise up this mornin,
Smiled with the risin sun,
Three little birds

Singin sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin, this is my message to you-ou-ou:
Singin: dont worry about a thing, worry about a thing, oh!
Every little thing gonna be all right. dont worry!
Singin: dont worry about a thing - I wont worry!
cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Singin: dont worry about a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right - I wont worry!

With all the talk about cannibalism and all, how about a little taste of Mrs. Lovett's pies?
- A Little Priest Lyrics
Seems a downright shame...
Shame?
Seems an awful waste...
Such a nice, plump frame
Wot's 'is name has...
Had...
Has!
Nor it can't be traced...
Bus'ness needs a lift,
Debts to be erased...
Think of it as thrift,
As a gift,
If you get my drift!
No?
Seems an awful waste...
I mean, with the price of meat
What it is,
When you get it,
If you get it...
Take, for instance, Mrs. Mooney and her pie shop!
Bus'ness never better using only pussycats and toast!
And a pussy's good for maybe six or seven at the most!
And I'm sure they can't compare as far as taste!
Eminently practical
And yet appropriate as always!
It's an idea...
Mrs. Lovett, how I've lived
Without you all these years, I'll never know!
How delectable!
Also undetectable!
Think about it!
Lots of other gentlemen'll
Soon be comin' for a shave,
Won't they?
Think of
All them
Pies!
For what's the sound of the world out there?
What, Mr. Todd?
What is that sound?
Those crunching noises pervading the air!
Yes, Mr. Todd!
Yes, all around!
It's man devouring man, my dear!
who are we to deny it in here?
These are desperate times,
Mrs. Lovett, and desperate measures are called for!
Here we are, now! Hot out of the oven!
What is that?
It's priest. Have a little priest.
Is it really good?
Sir, it's too good, at least!
Then again, they don't commit sins of the flesh,
Is it fresh?
Awful lot of fat.
Only where it sat.
Haven't you got poet, or something like that?
No, y'see, the trouble with poet is
'Ow do you know it's deceased?
Try the priest!
Heavenly!
Not as hearty as bishop, perhaps,
but then again, not as bland as curate, either!
And good for business, too -- always leaves you wantin' more!
Trouble is, we only get it on Sundays!
Lawyer's rather nice.
If it's for a price.
Order something else, though, to follow,
Since no one should swallow it twice!
Anything that's lean.
Well, then, if you're British and loyal,
You might enjoy Royal Marine!
Anyway, it's clean.
Though of course, it tastes of wherever it's been!
Is that squire,
On the fire?
Mercy no, sir, look closer,
You'll notice it's grocer!
Looks thicker,
More like vicar!
No, it has to be grocer --
It's green!
The history of the world, my love --
Save a lot of graves,
Do a lot of relatives favors!
Is those below serving those up above!
Ev'rybody shaves,
So there should be plenty of flavors!
How gratifying for once to know
That those above will serve those down below!
Now let's see, here... We've got tinker.
Something... pinker.
Tailor?
Paler.
Butler?
Subtler.
Potter?
Hotter.
Locksmith?
Lovely bit of clerk.
Maybe for a lark.
Then again there's sweep
If you want it cheap
And you like it dark!
Try the financier,
Peak of his career!
That looks pretty rank.
Well, he drank,
It's a bank
Cashier.
Never really sold.
Maybe it was old.
Have you any Beadle?
Next week, so I'm told!
Beadle isn't bad till you smell it and
Notice 'ow well it's been greased...
Stick to priest!
Now then, this might be a little bit stringy,
but then of course it's... fiddle player!
No, this isn't fiddle player -- it's piccolo player!
'Ow can you tell?
It's piping hot!
Then blow on it first!
The history of the world, my sweet --
Oh, Mr. Todd,
Ooh, Mr. Todd,
What does it tell?
Is who gets eaten, and who gets to eat!
And, Mr. Todd,
Too, Mr. Todd,
Who gets to sell!
But fortunately, it's also clear
That ev'rybody goes down well with beer!
Since marine doesn't appeal to you, 'ow about... rear admiral?
Too salty. I prefer general.
With, or without his privates? "With" is extra.
What is that?
It's fop.
Finest in the shop.
And we have some shepherd's pie peppered
With actual shepherd on top!
And I've just begun --
Here's the politician, so oily
It's served with a doily,
Have one!
Put it on a bun.
Well, you never know if it's going to run!
Try the friar,
Fried, it's drier!
No, the clergy is really
Too coarse and too mealy!
Then actor,
Yes, and always arrives overdone!
I'll come again when you have JUDGE on the menu!
Wait! True, we don't have judge yet,
but we've got something you might fancy even better.
What's that?
Executioner!
Have charity towards the world, my pet!
Yes, yes, I know, my love!
We'll take the customers that we can get!
High-born and low, my love!
We'll not discriminate great from small!
No, we'll serve anyone,
Meaning anyone,
And to anyone
At all!

I know...it was record breaking, obviously. We survived but were surrounded by tornados all night long. One of our schools and a couple of homes surrounding it were hit, that was about a mile to the west of me and there was one about 1/2 mile behind us. Just need to have my roof inspected for hail damage:) (3 hail storms that night) I've been here for 21 years and we get them almost every season, but I've never been as scared as I was Monday night. Now we must all pray for Arista as they are in her area. (we paid for 70's weather in the beginning of January!) The lightning was unbelieveable but beautiful! :eek2:

I've been walking around at work with five-gallon buckets tied to my boots--kinda like stilts--listening to K-Bear and that...Billy Ray Cyrus? tune that he recorded with his? daughter is kinda catchy--not that I recall any of the words, just the sound of her voice--usually I'm spreading mud on the drywall...wish I could offer more, but it's kinda cool. The DJ had him, BRC, on, live interview, or something and was trying to listen and somehow I remember this other name that doesn't make sense, Hannah maybe, Hannah Montana...go figure. The sound of her voice though is OK. I try to imagine how old she must be...sounds young...
Shania Twain sounds pretty cool, "...and there ain't no way..." Yeah babe, sounds great, 'don't let go'.
Another is "There's a long black train, coming down the line...watch out brother, for that long black train..." deep bass voice, forget the name of the artist...sorry.
The buckets are a poor man's version of drywallers' stilts. About nine buckets of mud into now, almost done--lots of corners. There's some pretty pricey tools one could buy, mud pans, pumps, the works, but you have to make do at times.

We are all fine, Kim, thank you for asking. The kids were troopers and the baby apparently thought we were throwing her a party in the closet, she was haveing a blast:) We only lost power for about an hour and just have to have the roof checked for hail. Hope not, another claim would be bad:( Hit a deer and caused $3k in damage and had to claim that a week before Christmas.
We faired a lot better than a lot of others. Some lost their homes and two lost their lives. Also, I just think of other parts of the country that have more severe weather than we had...

I hear we can do dedications. So I dedicate this to---
Ex
Led Zeppelin
Battle Of Evermore
Queen of Light took her bow
And then she turned to go
The Prince of Peace embraced the gloom
And walked the night alone.
Oh dance in the dark of night
Sing to the morning light.
The dark Lord rides in force tonight
And time will tell us all.
Oh throw down your plow and hoe
Rest not to lock your homes.
Side by side we wait the might
Of the darkest of them all.
I hear the horses' thunder
Down in the valley below,
I'm waiting for the angels of Avalon,
Waiting for the eastern glow.
The apples of the valley hold,
The seeds of happiness,
The ground is rich from tender care,
Repay, do not forget, no, no.
Oh,-------dance in the dark of night,
sing to the morning light.
The apples turn to brown and black, The tyrant's face is red.
Oh the war is common cry, pick up your swords and fly.
The sky is filled with good and bad
That mortals never know.
Oh, well, the night is long, The beads of time pass slow,
Tired eyes on the sunrise, waiting for the eastern glow.
The pain of war cannot exceed
The woe of aftermath,
The drums will shake the castle wall,
The ring wraiths ride in black, Ride on.
Sing as you raise your bow,
Shoot straighter than before.
No comfort has the fire at night
That lights the face so cold.
Oh dance in the dark of night,
Sing to the mornin' light.
The magic runes are writ in gold
To bring the balance back, Bring It Back.
At last the sun is shining, the clouds of blue roll by,
With flames from the dragon of darkness
The sunlight blinds his eyes

ATB - Extacy
Have you ever noticed,
That I’m not acting as I used to do before?
Have you ever wondered,
Why I always keep on coming back for more?
What have you done to me,
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
You really are my ecstasy,
My real life fantasy
My real life fantasy
Not that I’m complaining,
A more beautiful vision - I have never seen
If you don’t mind me saying,
A lifelong ambition to fulfill my dream
What have you done to me,
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
I’ll never be the same I'll tell you for sure
You really are my ecstasy,
My real life fantasy, oh yeah
You really are my ecstasy,
My real life fantasy, oh yeah
(There can be no other While we still have each other)
(There can be no other
While we still have each other)
(There can be no other
While we still have each other)
My real life fantasy, oh yeah

I heard this just now on the moldy oldies station I listen to in the AM:
Heart Full Of Soul
Yardbirds
Sick at heart and lonely,
deep in dark despair.
Thinking one thought only
where is she tell me where.
And if she says to you
she don't love me
just give her my message
tell her of my plea
And I know if she had me back again
well I would never make her sad.
I've gotta heart full of soul.
She's been gone such a long time
longer than I can bear
but if she says she wants me
tell her that I'll be there
And if she says to you
she don't love me
just give her my message
tell her of my plea.
And now it's stuck in my haid... :oo:

I love that song! I haven't thought of it in years!
Also, wasn't there a song called Constant Cravings? It was performed by a female artist. It's for food, folks. I've just now started eating again. I'm almost back to normal.
K.D. Lang did Constant Cravings.

Just because I really like this song.
Follow Me
Uncle Cracker
You don't know how you met me
You don't know why,
You can't turn around and say good-bye
All you know is when I'm with you I make you free
And swim through your veins like a fish in the sea
I'm singing
Follow me, and
Everything is alright
I'll be the one to tuck you in at night
And if you want to leave
I can guarantee
You won't find nobody else like me
don't worry 'bout the ring you wear
just as long as no one knows
Then nobody can care
Your feelin guilty
And I'm well aware
But you don't look ashamed
And baby I'm not scared
I'm singing
Follow me, and
Everything is alright
I'll be the one to tuck you in at night
And if you want to leave
I can guarantee
You won't find nobody else like me
Won't give you money
I can't give you the sky
you're better off if you don't ask why
I'm not the reason that you go astray
We'll be alright if you don't ask me to stay
Follow me, and
Everything is alright
I'll be the one to tuck you in at night
And if you want to leave
I can guarantee
You won't find nobody else like me
You don't know how you met me
You don't know why,
You can't turn around and say good-bye
All you know is when I'm with you I make you free
And swim through your veins like a fish in the sea
I'm singing
Follow me, and
Everything is alright
I'll be the one to tuck you in at night
And if you want to leave
I can guarantee
You won't find nobody else like me

Everything is alright
I'll be the one to tuck you in at night
And if you want to leave
I can guarantee

Garbage - Cup Of Coffee
You tell me you don't love me over a cup of coffee
And I just have to look away
cont...
A million miles between us
Planets crashing into dust
I just let it fade away
I'm walking empty streets hoping we might meet
I see your car parked on the road
The light on at your window
I know for sure that you're home
But I just have to pass on by
So no of course we can't be friends
Not while I'm still this obsessed
I guess I always knew the score
This is how our story ends
I smoke your brand of cigarettes
And pray that you might give me a call
I lie around in bed all day just staring at the walls
Hanging round bars at night wishing I had never been born
And give myself to anyone who wants to take me home
So no of course we can't be friends
Not while I still feel like this
I guess I always knew the score
This is where our story ends
You left behind some clothes
My belly somersaults when I pick them off the floor
My friends all say they're worried
I'm looking far too skinny
I've stopped returning all their calls
And no of course we can't be friends
Not while I'm still so obsessed
I want to ask where I went wrong
But don't say anything at all
It took a cup of coffee
To prove that you don't love me
Beautiful song, but really sad. I don't even check my answering machine anymore.

Thanks Ms. Mod, Anni, and Kim.
Yes, I'm feeling better. Thanks. I hope you're feeling better, also, Kim. No migraines today, I pray.
Anni, what a unique experience. Seeing her performance from "both sides." K.D. Lang is truly talented.

Kim Sozzy - Break Up (cascada mix)
You look kind of cute when you’re mad
Your eyes are pretty when you look sad
Nothing’s like a salty kiss
Tasting the tears, the tears on your lips
We always forgive and forget,
It’s funny how we feel no regret
Cats and dogs in black and white
Picking a fight, we’re feeling alright
We should break up
‘Cause baby I love when we kiss and make up
We should break up
‘Cause baby I love when we kiss and make up
Come on baby let it all out
It’s easy to get caught in a round-about
Better to let off the steam
Then blowing the fuse if you know what I mean
We should break up
‘Cause baby I love when we kiss and make up
We should break up
‘Cause baby I love when we kiss and make up
I know we're two of a kind
I know we’ll get through the bump and the grind
And how I don’t care if we build it up
Just to tear it down
We should break up
‘Cause baby I love when we kiss and make up
We should break up
‘Cause baby I love when we kiss and make up

B-O-P-G-I-R-L
Got the whole world searching for their own bop girl
Out in the crowd, I'm in the street
Got the whole world shaking to my big bop beat
She's a bop girl
She's a bop, she's a bop bop girl
All you follow, I'll lead the way
Oh, the bop girl's A-OK
Dig the bop girl, start to move
down inside that microgroove
(chorus)

Out in the crowd, I'm in the street
Got the whole world shaking to my big bop beat
