I love this song--we had a Roger Miller record (it's like a big CD with a long groove in it, kids, and you put a "needle" on it) when I was growing up: "Dang Me," "England Swings," "You Can't Rollerskate In A Buffalo Herd"...ah, the memories.

I've been lucky enough to see him twice - once in the pit at Giants' Stadium where he baptized me in the name of Elvis Presley. It was a life-changing moment. :biggrin2:

There's a way to get on the field for the halftime show. You have to apply in a group of ten or more and be able to attend all the rehearsals leading up to the halftime show. I looked into it, but it doesn't seem worthwhile. You can't watch the game - there are no seats for the audience in the stadium.

Hope you do get to see him; he puts on a great show. At the concert I attended, someone held up a sign reading "Can Rosie Come Out Tonight?" so he played "Rosalita" (although he probably would have played it anyway LOL)

I like them both, but I prefer the Pearl Jam version. I love Eddie Vedder's voice. Especially the long screeches. Okay maybe screech isn't quite the right word. I was in high school when grunge got popular so maybe that's it too. I always seem to gravitate toward what I listened to when I was younger.:smile2:
