It is windy here in the elbow bend of Cali. I think a storm might be following, tonight or tomorrow. I better bring in some wood so the children won't be cold tonight. I really feel like the kitteh. :eek2:

He is not very good at homes, he first lived with our Doctor and then with me, but he loves to steal stuff! He took my toothbrush and put it in the cold air return! He has no concept of time or space, if you are eating he will take food off your plate and he knows how to open cupboard doors and opens up the boxes and thows it everywhere! When you are trying to sleep he is wide awake and wants to play (like a normal cat) but he does not stop and he is always seeking out warm places like under your PJ's! He thrives at our clinic and people stop in just to see him, I must say he is the best cat I have ever seen. He is VERY friendly and loves to be scratched under the chin.

He is not very good at homes, he first lived with our Doctor and then with me, but he loves to steal stuff! He took my toothbrush and put it in the cold air return! He has no concept of time or space, if you are eating he will take food off your plate and he knows how to open cupboard doors and opens up the boxes and thows it everywhere! When you are trying to sleep he is wide awake and wants to play (like a normal cat) but he does not stop and he is always seeking out warm places like under your PJ's! He thrives at our clinic and people stop in just to see him, I must say he is the best cat I have ever seen. He is VERY friendly and loves to be scratched under the chin.
This really made me smile Born In, he sounds like a whole lot of fun! :love:

My cat had 6 kittens last night! I'm so happy, now she can stop doing the penguin shuffle when she walks.

OMG, Flakey:) That is precious! Abby is now just over a year old and loves animals. She can say 'Garcia' (my kitty's name) and she meows at him. I have a new addition to my family. A little boy with big brown eyes was holding up some kitties in front of the local grocery store. He was saying " Please don't let them kill my kitties " I can't believe that they would tell a 6 year old that that would be the fate of his kitties if he didn't find homes for them. I picked out a beautiful little boy kitty and brought him home. He has been named Rayne. How my son came upon this name, I do not know. He is solid black and a wonderful companion to my best friend Christopher. I guess he enjoys the company of one of his own kind. I have come to really like Rayne, he is very smart. It took only one day to box train him, and now he never misses. He enjoys attacking the picture on the TV. My Christopher is now 8 years old, but he plays all the same with his new friend. I am a very happy new owner of such a beautiful kitten. :bat:

It took only one day to box train him, and now he never misses. He enjoys attacking the picture on the TV. My Christopher is now 8 years old, but he plays all the same with his new friend. I am a very happy new owner of such a beautiful kitten. :bat:

How great that you were able to adopt that kitty, and how lucky for the kitty to have you as a mommy! Rayne is a great name, too!! More evidence that kids pick the best names!
And no, I can't believe the ignorance of some people to actually tell a six year old child that the kitties would be killed!! Even if he was told just to say that to get them adopted, that's terrible.

Hello my friends. It is my sad duty to report that Peppermint was attacked by a dog friday night. It dislocated her tail, she's got big bite marks all down one leg, and while it didn't break any bones, the dog severed a tendon in her foot and she'll never walk the same again. She's doing better now, she can get to the litterbox at least and she's taking care of her kitties. She's eating and drinking well so I think she'll be okay.

Thanks you guys for all the well-wishes. Peppermint's slowly getting better, but today she hobbled over to the back door and kept looking at me and giving me this little "mew". She wanted to go out but I just can't let her. I'm trying to make sure her wounds stay clean and besides, she can't run if anything comes after her. :( I'll post some more pics of her and her babies when I get a chance.
