It's been a busy day.

Gallina has asked me to let everyone know that she'll be away for a few days. These are very special days for Gallina.

This Sunday, the 27th is the Russian Easter and on the 29th she and her family and friends will celebrate the 40th day of Dima's passing.

Quick story - my pregnant daughter-in-law, Kareen, came in last night feeling a little queasy after satisfying a craving for A Big Mac. She picked up the cordless phone to call her mother, but was suddenly overtaken by instant nausea and rushed to the bathroom with the phone where she inadvertently vomited on it and then dropped it down the toilet. I think the phone has been killed by a regurgitated Big Mac! BTW I posted something about Kareen in Poems.

Okay, I am still lost. I cannot keep up with the thread, but I am here just saying howdy do. I have a very long week next week, after my weekend I work a seven day run. :oo: I am still sore and tired, being a grouchy bear as my mother would put it. I am going to try my best to check in next week. I am just working and working, all the work me and my partner have done this week have got the bosses attention. We are getting a lot of praises. My family and I are doing well, I am trying my best to keep my temper in line. Wife lets me know when I slip.

Greetings all... I've been rather scarce around here lately and seem to have missed out on a barbeque. Darn. Well, the children will be heading back to school next week, and I hope to have more time to visit with everyone then. In the meantime, have a lovely weekend my friends. My husband took a class about cooking steak at a great restaurant here. The chef told them when customers order more than medium they don't get as good a cut of meat because it's going to be ruined anyway. :biggrin2:

First two weeks is really strict--basically veggies, air and water. I'll post my progress in another thread if anyone's interested.....Can't promise that it will be nice all the time, but please check in on me to make sure I haven't died or killed a co worker.
I'll be having a "No Fun White Mocha" today....same as regular, only no sugar, no real chocolate, no fat, no caffine....Like I said, No Fun!!

Henry, I'd sure love it if you have some recipes in your collection that will help me out with this diet thing....

Patricia....does that cook doing the mushrooms have skull and crossbones tattoed on the arm, and is that who we want cooking our mushrooms?:eek2: Actually, they are Morel mushrooms that I was hunting on the Calla and I ended up with about 250 total. Only about 100 left though and those will be gone by tomorrow.
As for the horses, they are captured and safe, but those bastards now stand at the fence with a great longing look in their eye and I think I hear them chuckling at me when I walk by them. Have a great day folks!

I'm also great at swinging a 2x4s and I have several with special handles that ensure the perfect grip for maximum 'up side the head' results.

She didn't want to talk but it is kind of hard not to talk when I was holding her and speaking. :p She is okay with me being here, so I can stay! :biggrin2: As for woman and emails, it is hard for her to trust me. I have been working really hard to gain her trust. She don't want to give it, and it seems I am not earning any until yesterday. We had a good family outing after that. We picked up son and her nephew. We went to get gas, I got two more plants. :oo: I have four types of peppers and strawberries. My son has grapes and tomatoes, my wife has squash and our calla lillie. I bought dirt and some two plants last night. We got movies and watched 2 of 3 together. We are getting along for now, sometimes I just don't know what to do. I told her I am tired of being on guard and I would like to have some friends da***t. Any ways, I am staying! Thank you all for the support and hugs, I give back twice as much.

I have never felt such acceptance with anything and it is amazing that I found it here. I had never even been on a message board/forum before I met you guys. Thank you all for everything! I have laughed, I have cried, I love this place!

I want you guys to know I am letting go of the anger, its not a healthy place for me to be. I have to be better than that for my kids, they deserve and need it. I know I will be better off, and in fact it is already getting better. I got bills paid and have money left over, if he was still here I would be completely broke now.

If you haven't listened to Jimmy Cliff you're in for a treat. To the West Indies he was Elvis, and a tremendous influence on the young Bob Marley. A marvellous songwriter, his voice reminds me of Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye or Sam Cooke.

And so handy to have it here for the inter-regnum.

FYI....my daughter did quite well at State Finals Rodeo and looks like we will be headed to Gallup, New Mexico again for Nationals. Looking forward to the trip. If anyone knows of any good places to eat out there, please let me know.

Well, I had a marvellous holiday, one of the best in my life. Meeting up with Kim and Jim was really great, and meeting Marianne again, climaxed by dinner in a really wonderful restaurant called Steph's (BRILLIANT choice, Marianne!) with Ms Mod, Robin Furth and Philippa (Sai King's UK editor) - I'll post the whole story as soon as I get my feet back on the ground. I had some good news last week, I am an aunt again! His name is Sean, and he is very cute. But Sean is a blessing in many ways, and it makes me feel so darn old that my baby bro is a dad now.

Cold showers and cooking out side with propane and charcoal! Washing everything in cold water! But it's not bad! We boil water to warm CubJax's baths for him!
