Good Wednesday to all. Thought it might be easier today-- not so.
Please be safe from this arctic cold that is consuming so much of the USA. I hear over the pond is experiencing nasty weather too.
Herbal tea in hand, off to bean bag central. All are welcome to join, sit by the fireplace and savor good memories and share stories.

I am going to settle in for the day again. I had a very restless night. I am having a very hard time with knowing John is gone, even though I know he must be so happy to be with his beautiful Anne again, and he is in no pain--no pain! He can play his guitar again. That makes my heart glad! But it is also broken and hurt. I am just so thankful to be here with all of you, where we can grieve together and hold each other up. I love you all.

Good Tuesday to all and welcome back. Was anyone else confused as to what was the day of the week? They all seemed to blend together this weekend. Hope 2012 is treating everyone well. Cold snap for FL. Today is supposed to only be 47F in my parts and 20's tonight. Brrrrrr.
May this new year bring only good to everyone. Hot herbal tea and off to bean bag central. All are welcome to join. We can catch up on the happenings of the past few days.
Welcome Back, MsMod. Hope Santa was extra good to you. Stay warm!!Yeah, most of Monday I thought it was Tuesday and sometimes Monday, then DeathStalker informed me it was actually Sunday and sometimes Monday. I'd gone to the post office expecting to mail something and it was closed. I thought it was Tuesday but I knew it was the 2nd.
I think I'm okay now because it's neither Monday nor Tuesday, but Wednesday... Right?
Please forgive my presumption but I believe the SKMB must expect to experience an appropriate healing process, sometimes known as the Grieving Process. We have suffered a major loss (though Heaven's gain); we will be in real pain for a while. I believe we need one another now as much as if not more than ever.
I believe some may become a bit irritable (me), though I haven't witnessed that yet, some will be temporarily absent, and some will go todash. I just think it's wise to be prepared.
I also believe the SKMB will survive. John wants that more than anything, don't you all agree? I just don't believe we can expect ever to be quite the same. There's value in a scar which demands we never forget. I think for all of us John is a memory we delight in.
Grieving process

Good Wednesday to all!!
My work day wasn't very good today. And I think I know what cause it. Been thinking of John the whole day and can't still believe he's gone. But tried to do my work as best as I could. What makes me most sad is that he remembered he's best friends birthday every year. And I still remember when he said few years back to me on my birthday May your days be long up on this earth!! Think he said this to many others too. This cross my mind and wanted to share this with you.
Forecast says a bad storm for us again. It's blow already outside but not very hard so will hope we survive the worst storm as last time. And we got much snow here few days ago and more came today. So it's really winter now. Hope the temp will stay around 1C to -2C as it is now. I don't want have any -20C Brrrrrr.............
Stay safe from heat cold and storm. Be well and take care!!
Long days and Pleasant Nights!!

Hi, everyone-
I'm trying, I'm really trying not to let John's passing get me down too much, but that isn't happening right now. I am really struggling, as are most-if not all-of you. Please keep me in your daily thoughts and prayers. I don't handle death well at all (but who the heck does, anyway?) I never ever expected to be affected so much by someone I never got to meet in real life. Grieving for an online friend shouldn't feel this horrible... but it does..
John wouldn't want us to be sad, and he'd definitely want us to come together like the family that we are, to help one another, and to keep the MB alive!
I can't really wish everyone a wonderful day like I normally would, but let's all try our hardest to make it as good as possible!!

What a week. Tonight I found out that the 20-yr old son of someone I've known for years committed suicide on New Year's Day. His life went all wrong for him, but I remember when he was adopted as a baby. I remember watching him grow up for years. Hell, he lived a block and a half away from me for years. Now he's dead, too, and I cried at work.
This is not a good week.

Hi All. I want to wish everyone a good day, we all have heavy hearts right now. I'm sending out positive vibes to All, wish we could all be together for one great big group hug. Definately not a good week for alot of us so far. May we all at least be able to have a somewhat good day, cherish what we have and be thankful for that, and remember those who are not among us now. Sounds cheesy, but it likes the song says: Love the one you're with, love the one you're with. Be nice to each other and those you will encounter today. Be cool.

Ms. Mod- I cannot even imagine how hard we're making your job this week. It must be incredibly difficult because you have to sift through and read every single post. To do that, you have to be a far stronger person than all of us. I certainly couldn't ever do it! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you've done, and will continue to do for us this week, and the weeks to come.
I also want to thank everyone else, for your compassion and support. You know who you are.
I really don't know where I'd be without you. Talking about our loss helps a lot.
Enjoy your day.

Just started reading 11/22/63 a week ago or so and am having trouble reading it. It's not the book. I'm loving the book. It's just how my mind wanders to John and how much I (we) miss him. Everything SK related right now has John stamped all over it. I know my husband is having trouble understanding how I can feel so close to someone I never met. I openly wept when Marew passed and I openly wept when Cat lost her granddaughter and I openly wept when I first saw Jake's message and then read Sunny's message when John passed. I tell my hubby it's because we've all become a family and we feel deep grief when a family member dies. Between real family and SK family we've lost 8 family members in the last 2 years. Please God, no more. Thanks for letting me vent!
