Good Afternoon Stephen King, I hope you are doing well. I have written a book titled Unwritten, funny enough. I have sent it to many agents and even sent it to Tim Burton, of all people, yet I have had no response. So, I decided to self publish because I think it is a good story and it kept my children engaged, which can be difficult. Even though they are still traumatized by Pennywise, I would like your advise. How do I get representation as I think that I may be a good writer? AND, no matter what, "What's her name Potter" may say I am the boy who lived, even though I am a woman. What do I do? Yes, I do say the craziest things sometimes, but I am frustrated. Help!

From the site's FAQ:

As well as there being some legal problems with this, the choice of an agent or publisher depends upon your style of writing. There are some good reference books--Literary Market Place (http://www.literarymarketplace.com) and Writer's Market (http://www.writersmarket.com) - and check to see if your state has a writer's association.
