Hi, I don't know what to think about the remake of Carrie... Ok, Stephen King is a genius, but, he should do something about it... Because the novel is much better than this. The first movie is so good, nobody can't get to the level of Sissy Spacek, his character was so creepy and glorious.
AND THE NOVEL, OMG, THE NOVEL IS PERFECTION.
I wait your answers:)

How can you have seen the remake when it's not due to be released until early 2013? Are you referring to the TV remake, if so, then I agree with you, it wasn't even remorely good. I am eagerly awaiting the new remake as I really liked the girl playing Carrie, she was great in the US version of Let Me In.

I can't wait for the new Carrie, I have high expectations for it since Chloe Moretz is a very decent actress. Special effects in movies have increased greatly since the first movie so I'm interested to see how well they project Carrie's powers. Bring it on I say...yay! :cool2:

I`d like to see a remake where Carrie doesn`t die in the end, but escapes & goes into hiding until the heat dies down, & then lives a new life under an assumed name.

I think the story had to be written as a tragedy. What would have been left of Carrie's psyche after destroying her whole town and killing her mother?
I have never actually seen any Carrie movie but looking forward to checking out the new one :-)
