...I rush through so I can do something else.
That's right. I'm back, and I just got done Insomnia so that I can read Dark Tower VII (I'm 30 pages into it now).
I tried not to rush through it, but I'm sure I still missed things. A lot of times on the SKMB I have noticed Insomnia being called one of the "worst/ least favourite" King books. I loved it.
Sure, it is really slow and takes time getting to the point but the story was pretty awesome. I consider this a Dark Tower book (not just related, but it feels like it should be part of the series itself), considering the whole goal in Insomnia is to save young Patrick Danville, who has visions of Roland and the Tower and thus, important to the Tower itself. Also the Crimson King is present .
The characters, the plot, and the connections to King's other works specifically Gage's shoe from Pet Sematary and references to IT all came together to please me. This is surely another one of my favourites from Sai King.
