Hi everyone,
If you've been on this board long enough, you know that every once in a while I make little movies starring my daughters just for the fun of it. Our latest movie, "Scallywags" (a Western), will be premiered in my basement theater on February 12th. My daughters are very excited about the premiere party: all their cousins are coming over, and we are going to have a red carpet, balloons, popcorn and theater-sized candy! I will post a YouTube link here on February 13th so if you're interested in the movie, you can watch it.
Here's the poster I made for the movie...

Hi everyone, here is a copy of the official program for "Scallywags" (see attached). I'm going to print these up as a two-sided document, fold them in half and hand them out at the premiere party. This is best viewed as a Word document so depending on what you have, there might be some formatting differences. Hope this brings a smile to your faces!

I asked Jillian what type of movie she wanted to do next, and she said "Why not have people vote?" Out of the mouths of babes. So, it's no secret that "Scallywags" is going to be a Western, so what movie genre should we tackle next? I created a quick online survey to get an idea what kinds of movies people would most like to see us do. If you're interested in participating, send me a PM and I'll send you the link to the survey (no registration is required). Thanks for watching!

Hi everyone, we had our "Scallywags" movie premiere party yesterday and it was a lot of fun! We decorated the walls with western themed decorations, and I wore a cowboy hat and a tie. The girls wore their favorite dresses. I put the movie up on YouTube last night, so here it is, enjoy!

Based on the poll I took earlier, we might do a sci-fi/space travel movie next, but no concrete plans yet. I'd like to turn the next movie out a bit faster, this one just took too long and the kids are growing very fast!

And, yes, one must move fast, kids grow too fast, one much move faster. Just look at Ricky Schroder, Haley Joel Osment, Dakota Fanning, Dustin Hoffman, and William Shatner!

We did a collaboration video with Culter Productions. Culter Productions is Anthony, a movie making whiz kid. My daughters have been fans of his movies for years so I, being a good dad, got them an acting gig in one of his movies. So I wrote the script and also filmed the Pittsburgh segment, sent the files to Anthony and he finished the rest.
I am at work so I haven't even been able to watch it yet, so hopefully he did a good job and didn't change my script too much. My daughters' segment should be somewhere in the middle of the movie.

Thanks everyone! This one kind of made me nervous because normally I get to hide behind the camera, or just have a quick scene. You'll notice Jillian sat nice and still but I moved around a lot! I think I prefer remaining anonymous.
It took us about 3 weeks to memorize the dialog, about 10 minutes each day (usually when I was driving her to daycare), then another week to practice so we knew it inside-out. A funny side effect is that Jillian ended up learning all my lines as well, so she can rattle off the whole 6 pages of script herself if you ask her! And since Addie was in the car, she knows about 75% of it too, although the long passages are tough.

Hi guys,
Disclaimer: this video doesn't star Jillian & Addie, but I did write the script. This is another collaboration with Culter Productions--I found out the kid director had a crush on a Nickelodeon actress named Ariana Grande, so I wrote a story about it. Personally it made me laugh...is there something wrong with laughing at your own jokes?
BTW, I recently got some new software that should help me finish off "Kids In Space", that is if I ever find the time! In the meantime, hope you enjoy this one...

Jillian and I met local celebrity "Pittsburgh Dad" at Monroeville Mall over the weekend. Pittsburgh Dad is a big deal here, he has done several TV and radio appearances as well as being a big YouTube celebrity--basically he just spoofs the stereotypical grouchy Pittsburgh father we all had growing up.
Jillian brought him back to earth a little bit by pointing out that our YouTube channel had more views than his (our 17 million to his 9 million) so he was a good sport about it and even agreed to let us shoot some video of him and Jillian for our YouTube channel. I put together a little video of our experience, check it out here:
