Rachael (my new wife) and I just got back from our honeymoon in Maine. I cannot stress enough how much we enjoyed the trip and how beautiful Maine is in fact as well as fiction. We took hundreds upon hundreds of photographs and we are in the process of going through them, sorting them, and will post them in appropriate albums. We will have a Derry Album (which I will post a link to here when it is done) for discussion of the many things we saw. We took the special tour with Stu Tinker (see http://sk-tours.com/) and got the skinny on all sorts of things that I, already and avid fan, did not know.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your time here and that you made it back safely. It was a pleasure meeting you and Rachael for lunch--wish we'd had more time to chat but if you come back again, be sure to let me know. :smile2:

I've never been to Maine but hope to get there someday. Another author that I read, Tess Gerritsen, lived in Hawaii but moved to Maine after visiting. She writes the books the TNT series Rizzoli and Isles is based on, by the way.

That we did and thank you for coming out to meet us. Our visit with you at the Sea Dog is part of what I plan to present. For all of those reading, Ms. Mod is as gracious in person as online. We really enjoyed the conversation. We already started working on some mail from our State to try and balance out the crazy (private joke between us and Ms. Mod).

Happy to hear you and your wife enjoyed your trip to Maine. Yeah isn't a great place. I and my sister was there in May (I know I've tell this thousand times but still think of the great trip we had) and it irritate me little now afterward that we didn't had time to go on the Stuart Tinker's SK tour. I surely want to visit Maine again someday. Look forward to see the picture's you took.
