Hello all or anyone who might pop by this thread. Stephen King has been my favorite author for a good 20+ years. Maximum Overdrive (derived from short story Trucks) is by far my favorite movie/story that he created. I have a full sleeve on my left arm, and finally decided to start on my right, and this is the first one I got :)

As beautiful as the art work is, did it hurt a lot?

Like my shooter posted over his chair-"It's permanent, and YES-it hurts!"

Whomever says their tattoo did not hurt was full of baloney. I have 11 total, and they all hurt, in varying degrees by the size of needle- (shading versus outlining or coloring) and where it is placed. This one though was not my most painful one. I have a POWMIA bracelet on my left wrist, and the Disney Cheshire cat on the inside of my left forearm. Where they meet together on the inside of my wrist- well lets just say that I questioned my sanity when my artist got to that area, because each has substantial shading involved which means he had to go over the same spots several times. And @ ben Staad- I already have the rest of my real estate on my right arm mapped out :) Maximum Overdrive was chosen because it is my favorite of his movie stories & holds alot of memories in regards to family growing up, watching it with my dad & brother- so several meanings attached to it... And to those praising my tattoo artist- I think he is the absolute best out there- and he's relatively young. Some are just blessed with the skills to bring your dream to reality- he certainly is... :)

How many people look at only part of it and say, "Hey, cool GREEN GOBLIN tattoo?" Like say, if your wearing a flannel with the sleeves partially rolled up, and they see the Green Goblin head and go, "Aw, sweet, Green Goblin, Norman Osborne ROCKS!"
