I am reading this one again, after first doing so when I bought it in Las Vegas, in 2000.
Now that I live in Bangor, it makes so much more sense, when he describes the surrounding towns and places. Out of curiosity, he mentions that his son Joe was a handful at five (my boy's age now), living in an apartment on Sanford St. I just moved from that area, on Warren St (between 2nd and Sanford), and was curious as to which place the Kings had lived; I have a friend who lives on that street, and my kids' school bus stop was there, on the corner of Cedar.
