Man it was unpleasant. Talk about a DOWNER of an ending man.

I love this book for how different it is. When you start this, you think you know what you are getting, rabid dog vs some people but you get much more. I think I love how when you read a SK book, you can not predict the ending. He mixes it up pretty good with his endings and you are never sure if you're going to get a happy one or not.

If you want a different ending you might check out the movie. I don’t recommend the movie but you might like it.
Cujo was my first Stephen King book. It hooked me. I still pick it up and re-read it from time to time.

King books don't always end the way we might want them to...but to me, I always end up realizing that whatever the ending, it was the right ending. The movie ending may be more to your liking, but I thought it was wrong to change the way it was written. Maybe it was a "kinder, gentler" ending, but to me it was still not right. What I really loved about this book was the way King wrote what Cujo was thinking and feeling. Man, that was awesome!
