I just finished reading the book. All four , five stories, am not sure fo the quantity. It amazes me the low profile of this stories. Specially when they deal so majestically on one side with growing up in the 60s and how they deal as well with chracters connecting to each other.
Of Stephen King's books this was the one I read the slowlier because each tale was a story to be comprehended, or perhaps because I had way to many electrical gift for my christmas. But I feel encourage by the way Kign writes about the fight of both soldiers and activists of the Vietnam war, both their glories and tragedies. I come from Latin America in wich the novel of political critic of some kind is big and monstruously detailed. To the point of lacking what is mroe affected in those times humanity. Stephen King managed to put Nate and Carol as a generation's couple messed up by the scholarship, drunken fathers and a war.
Interesting yet quite low profile tales.
I also think the movie should reshoot but keeping Anthony, he was fatter than what I picture Ted :laugh: but it was good.

I found it specially funny book to read considering what the Almighty SK's wife said about SK , Vietnam and Nixon :)
