As far as I know, Bill Norton isn't "infected" when we last leave him in the book. In fact, both Susan and his wife are dead around the period of time we see him last. So where does he go?

Tony Glick is in a hospital out of town, described as being "in shock." Any number of things could have happened. He could have died in the hospital of natural causes and not returned as a vampire. He could have been found by Danny or Marjorie there and they "finished the job." He could have recovered and returned home, only to be finished by a vampiric family member there.

We also have a hospital and a couple of schools in town, all of them chock full of employees (teachers and doctors). What becomes of them?

I like it better when the story leaves some loose ends. Goves me something to think about and make up endings on my own. Plus, knowing Stephen King's universe you may here of some or all of these characters, the way we learned of Father Calahan's faith in the DT series.

Oh Pat, I loved it!:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Anyhoo-I often wonder about the fate of some of his characters, who's threads aren't "wrapped up"-but that is the sign of a master writer, when he leaves you constantly wanting more. Kinda like me at an endless pizza buffet...:grinning:
