Annie Wilks vs. Margaret White

I hope this isn't too off topic, but here it goes: Who do you think is scarier Annie Wilks from Misery or Margaret White from Carrie?

I have a tough time choosing, but my money is on Annie Wilks for a variety of reasons:

1. Annie has killed many times
2. She is a nurse, and nurse's are supposed to be loving and caring. Which adds to her terror.
3. She's taken her obsession to new hights.

What do you guys think?

These are my favorite monsters from our beloved word slinger. The monsters who live next door, and you don't know it. Hard to vote on this one both have their qualities for nasty.

They are both scary but, Annie Wilkes hands down. That crazy, looney toon was found FINALLY dead in the barn with a chainsaw! ( I guess she is of the mind, "If someone's gonna get hurt in here, I ain't gonna be the last one!") Holy rollers I think I can talk myself out of, vengeful doody birds need killin'!

There is very little debate here, as far as I'm concerned. A serial killer is an aberration that we recognise when we see. Dangerously deluded fundamentalist evangelicals, on the other hand, are a perfectly accepted segment of our society and thrive among us. I do not think you would have very much trouble finding yourself a generous passel of Margaret Whites, if you looked in the right place. Annie has to keep her work a secret, if she can. Maggie has no such restriction, and I find that worlds more frightening.
