I have the hardback of BoB from years ago when I read it. I wanted to get the audio cd set because it is easier for me with a 3 yr old to listen when I have a chance..Anyway, I have ordered 4 brand new copies from Barnes & Noble and Books a Million. All of the sets had to be sent back because they all had a bad place on the very first disc. It would start making a noise and begin cutting out so when I would fast forward to the next track it would start from the beginning of the disc again. Every set has done this same thing. It has to be a bad lot of them made I guess. Does anyone know where I might could get a copy that is good and not damaged? Neither bookstore can do anything about it but take em back. Thats not doing me any good...there has to be one somewhere that is ok. If anybody has any ideas or knows where I could get a good copy please let me know. I just don't know what else to do? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Have you contacted Simon & Schuster Audobooks directly? They should be able to help you.

I've done a little searching and found a website that sells new and used books in print as well as audio books. www.abebooks.com Just type in Bag of Bones under the audio section and you're good to go.

If you have Itunes - you could buy it from Audible .com and download to your computer & listen from there, or burn a copy to cd's for your personal use only.
I buy most of my books that way,
