I haven't read the sucker in like years since 1999.

The old hardcover is still in good shape after being stored away in the closet for that long of a time. Plus I had to dig out my copy of the paperback version of the whole Lord of the Rings Trilogy collection which was published again due to the Fellowship movie. Little bit of the pages are a little bent at the bottom in the middle but that too is still in good shape.

Man you never know what you might find in the damn closet in like years

I lended my copy of "It" to a cute blonde girl in college. Big mistake. When I finally got it back from her, it had pink stains on the side of the pages. She said she had spilled cough syrup on it! There was also some green crayon on the side that hadn't been there before. Over two decades later those marks are still there! And the cute blonde girl is long gone.

Just bought a new hardback copy a few months back. It was my first re-read since it was first published, it really benefits from a re-read like no other King novel.

I also lent my hardcover copy to a young lady I was seeing at the time. I haven't seen the girl OR the book in many years!! Perhaps that's why I'm single...don't want my SK collection to disappear!!

Congrats on coming out of the closet......with the book!:biggrin2: I'm due for a re-read myself. Been through it two or three times, but the mind is a little fuzzy at this point. Sleep is over-rated though. Still working on the transition from Third shift to First. Ahhh, the light it burns........:bat:
