Great book! I think there is not that many threads because it is virtually unknown. My aunt, who is quite old and has been a constant reader for years and years heard about it for the first time last year. I read it and thought "wow, very good book, not at all the thing I was expecting".
So all in all, it was a good book.

I liked it VERY much. But it is more like a children horror story and it ends so quickly. I mean, don't get me wrong, I thought the story was great but it took me like what - 20 minutes to read it? Hardly comparable to Mr. King's full length novels.

Good stuff, and a nice turn on the "big shaggy dog" story by our esteemed Inkslinger! Is it my fave? No, but it certainly, uh, grabs ya by the throat for a few "hairy" moments. Puns of course intended.

yeah, i liked it....the pictures are scary...at least the ones in color, each of those had the werewolf, hey?....the black and white, scenery...i liked the layout, january through december...i read a story called, truck, a love story, by michael perry, from wisconsin....uses that same january through december set-up...seems like an okay way to tell a story.....who knows what began this january past and what the end of december brings.....

I'll have to re-read this one again soon. It's been at least 5 years since I've so much as looked at it, and honestly I barely remember a thing about it. Glad to see a few "likes" on this thread though.

I couldn't figure out what was the book we are talking about here, but I finally found out it's the novel about the a young boy fighting a werewolf. I have seen the movie a while ago and I have the book which is a french translation called Peur Bleue, which would translate in Scary Blue in english. I don't know why they didn't put the exact translation of the title. Anyway, I liked the story, but I'm sorry to say it was not one of SK's best. It's too short and it gave me an impression of ''déjà vu''. I liked the actors in the movie though. :smile2:

I liked this book because it's about werewolves, was going to be a calendar, and had unique suprises. Even though it wasn't one of his greatest, it wasn't one of his worsts. I haven't read any of those though (hoping to love all of his books). :wink2:

I liked it a lot, but then they did that horrible movie and kinda ruined it for me. I recently picked it up for a reread after all these years and was shocked by how short it was. In my memory it was a whole novel.

I just ordered this book because my friend was mentioning how good the movie was to me; I prefer reading the book before seeing the film. Hopefully it's good because I love werewolf stuff.
