There is a scene in this book where Eddie visits Calvin Tower and they discuss misprinted books. I was reading the story and there is a misprint on the page immediately after this discussion is conclude (p 696 in the pocket books fiction) where pages 647-696 were reprinted and the story continues at 745. At first I thought this was some kind of crazy super meta trick that King stuck in the story, but I read a little bit and realized there is no way he intentionally left out these pages.

Anyway, I was wondering if this was a rare misprint and would have any interest to collectors? I found the nature of the error and the location to be quite amazing. Unfortunately the book isn't in great shape.

(That made me LOL)

You can find out approximately what a book is worth by putting the ISBN number in the search thing on the abe site.
Condition is a huge part of the value of a book ($$ wise that is). :smile2:

Hmm. It doesn't look like there are any like it on that site. I've tried E-bay too. Is it possible that this is either common enough that its worthless or one of a kind? Do you know of any ways to check?

Just thought I would update this.

I also got a copy of Wolves of the Calla with the Misprint in the same place. Funny I thought the exact same thing as you about Stephen King putting it in there on purpose. I ordered my copy off Amazon over 6 months ago so did not think I could return it so went to the local book store and found an identical copy of the book, same publisher, etc. but it did not have the misprint in it. So it looks like it is not in all the copies by that company.
