Perhaps mod can help me with this but on Amazon I see the On Writing 10th Anniversary Edition and am just wondering if it is known what will be different about this anniversary edition?

I was wondering the exact same thing...
On Writing has literally changed my life. For the better or worse...remains to be told.
Thanks for asking this.
(This is my first post as well!)

Hi folks!
I never saw the original version of On Writing, but have bought and read the 10th Anniversary edition. From what I understand (and sorry if I'm not remembering correctly, I have lent it to my mom so I don't have it in my possession right now) there is a little extra material, but not really a whole lot. Maybe you can borrow it from a friend (or buy it for them as a gift and then borrow ;) ) to see what is different. I think an extra (short) forward, another reading list, but not really a great amount.
Has anyone compared the two?
Fantastic book, by the way! Couldn't put it down! :)

Shell is correct, there is a third forward and an extended reading list in the back. I believe Mr. King also added bits and pieces to update his book to be more tech-friendly. There were a lot of computer references which I'm assuming weren't in the previous edition.
Someone would have to let me know, I was twelve when the first book came out, so I can't be sure of it's contents as I've never read it.
