The talisman...what can you say about the talisman other than WOW...to have an imagination like that and to couple it with the genious to put it words that paint such a vibrant picture, a running mental movie if you will, is just amazing...i liked the Talisman and the black house so much i feel like i know Jack Saywer...and yes a little tear when Wolf...well you know...I liked it so much i wrote a song for the Talisman!! Ive never been a rereader before but i am now...so far in a little over a year(yeah kind of a late bloomer)..ive read...The Talisman, The Black House, firestarter, salems lot, the Tommyknockers, The stand, 4 past midnight, and maybe a couple more...im so happy to have so much ahead of me to read...My favs so far are the Talisman, Blackhouse, and the Tommyknockers, but they were all very good...any suggestions on the next read?

It or the Stand should be next on your list. They are the only other ones that are as good or better than the Talisman.

Hey! Glad to see you've enjoyed so many books this past year! I would recommend The Dead Zone (just reread it myself a couple of weeks ago, for the ah, 4th or 5th time!), The Shining (be prepared to be scared!), and of course, The Dark Tower Series...which, is positively wonderful! ooo all of the above books are awesome ...one of my personal favs is eye of the dragon ...but you also have to add needfull things to your list of must reads ...just brilliant

I honeslty can not wait for the next Talisman...The Dark tower has been suggested to me before, and i think i'll take the advice...im just finishing up Needfull Things...(I Love it)...and i've been seeing on the MB that The Dark Tower has a small connection or so, if i'm getting this right, to the Talisman and The Black House?

Loved The Talisman to bits and will be moving on to Black House next. Like many other people here, I'd highly recommend The Dark Tower books, I also really enjoyed Cell so put that one next on your list :smile2:

I would suggest the Stand next.long read but well worth it. welcome to the board. I have read both the regular and uncut versions.
