Loved the book, I found it sad though because I own a Saint Bernard:sad:

The book was great, although the movie was not as good as I thought it would be. I have a friend that owns a saint bernard and named it Cujo.

Wow I would never name my dog "Cujo"...too much like tempting fate.
I actually didn't mind the movie, although the book is obviously a hundred times superior.
I always liked Cujo, such a shame he could not have had a happier existence.
Dumb dog!

You know, I once considered if I had a kid naming him "Theodore" after you-know-who. I thought better of though, for the same reason.

I think if done right, CUJO could make an awesome movie, if done by someone who knew how to play up the claustrophobia and entrapment angles better. As for the book, I HATED it the first time I read it. It was only on a second reading over 10 years later that I finally saw its positive points. It's not in my top 10 King novels, ever, but at least I don't hate it anymore.
