This movie was probably the creepiest for me to watch. When I read the book, I could visualise, but the movie really got on me. Why? Because when I was about 8 years old, this young kid named Guy was hit by a truck and I knew him. He died, and we went to the funeral parlor my class and me to pay respect. I watched him in his coffin and I got so sad and upset, that I had dreams about him the following night and my mom had to come to sleep with me. I was scared, and I was afraid the same thing would happen to me. I'm 61, and still recall that night of nightmares, honest.

I do relate with you on this although I was 15 and it was only 14 years ago I come acrose a young man of about 25 in the field acros the road from my house and it was a very bad ejection senarieo to say the least. and the image of him laying there honts me when I close my eyes at night although it's not nightly any more but I still see hm and that is a thing that will be hard to get rid of Im sure. live long ,lough hard and die happy.

Sorry for the night mares tha you still suffer from and hope with time you can find peace with that thought and it too will fade to a small shimmer in you'r head.

No bad dreams anymore, but the thing I'm most afraid of is that some day I hit one myself. That must be the most horrible thing that can happen to a driver I think.

This is so sad. Really sorry people experience these type things. I can<t imagion. I lost a husband who was walking in an aweful snow storm and was hit by a driver. Then killed by a cityplow. I talked with the driver and I think it was worse for him as he has to live with that. Aweful memory for us all.

So sorry that this happened to your husband. That must have been horrible for you. The worst things can happen in snow storms. I know something about it as we live in a very snowy area. Finding peace after killing people on the road must be very hard I agree. Thank you for sharing this with me.
